In the first post this was said: just download attached zip file, and copy extracted file (gta.set) to: /sdcard/Android/data/com.rockstar.gta3/files/GTA3 - backup existing one
The thing is, i didnt have gta.set to back up in the first place, and also says u need a computer when u dont.
All u need to do is download the game from google and install, it will then download the sd files, then download the rar file in the first post and use androzip to extract the gta.set file to where it says in the first post![]()
And that's called pirating which is not something we talk about or share at XDA.

And you're being overly sensitive. The game is from the Android Market FROM Google in the first place...Rockstar doesn't sell the game direct. You mentioned only Google. Not Rockstar.

Thanks for this. But I have a problem on Xperia Mini pro which has a 320x480 display.
Without the .set file i can see everything on the screen, albeit the font is really small since its shrinked.
But with your .set file, UI elements are being rendered as if i had a high res phone (the game itself, the 3D part of it, is rendered perfectly) so i can only see the top left of the UI which is only radar. No on foot/driving controls and such.
I've tried moving all those on screen controls to the top left with original set file, hoping they will stay there when i overwrite the new .set file, but they dont.
Does anyone have any ideas how to fix this?
PS. The game actually looks rather weird with the original set file. Its like its being rendered in high res and then shrunk to fit on the screen, so it looks jagged and blurry. Whereas, with your .set file the game is being rendered (except the UI) in native resolution so it looks much nicer. The added effects are actually not that important.
Have tried restoring controls to defaults?
and double tapping the icon in ui editor will resize it, all elements have 3 sizes, small medium big. for your screen if you resize all to small, you'll free alot of space on screen i think![]()
It works but the resolution is higher so the buttons and controls are almost in the middle instead of the right side of the screen..
