Hi all!

Any 3.4.x Froyo downgrade to 2.51 Eclair, if you have installed 3.4.x .sbf with RSD Lite

How to:

- root (Superoneclick)
- Install system recovery
- move 2.51 CEE Deblur nandroid backup or other 2.51 backup to SD card/goapkrev/backup
-recovery boot
-wipe data/wipe cache
-restore 2.51 backup
-restart system, press and hold volume+ button and install 2.51 fixed sbf with RSD Lite.

-Enjoy :)

2.51 CEE Deblur nandroid backup: MULTIUPLOAD
2.51 Fixed SBF: MULTIUPLOAD

Sorry my bad english...
Is it afterwards possible to flash any other original 2.1 ROM from Motorola?

Did someone tried it?

Not, only this version works, the other official version of the phone will not start.
The fixed SbF bypasses the two entries, so to restore the Eclair.
Ok

But isnt it maybe possible to just keep this fixed bootloader from 2.51 CEE after the downgrade and then restore a 2.51 from Germany or France? Im asking cause i have to send my phone back to Motorola as my GPS isnt working right.

so jokerchris and me need a 2.51 fixed SBF from Germany.
Then i think it works.

But there is no 2.51.DE fixed SBF in the SBF Thread.
How can i make it ?

This solution can also be applied to other 2.51 nandrod backup as described above. Simple official 2.51 sbf flash (with RSD lite) not working (after), only as described above viable.

So i can take whatever 2.51 Nandroid Backup that i find (for example the German one), restore it and afterwards use your fixed 2.51 sbf to flash the bootloader?

That would be great

The fixed sbf I did not create, Google was my friend :). Universal principle, but ask fritolays how create the 2.2 fixed Sbf-s.

Isnt it then also possible to flash a generic unmodified sbf (lets say 2.51), and after this is finished go straight to the bootloader menu and reflash the related modified sbf with the fixed boot image?

There is the problem with the bootloader again. The stock update from Motorola flashes the bootloader but if u were at 3.4.x then u will get a bootloop. You can try to flash a fixed 2.51 sbf afterwards.

Ive succesfully flashed the 2.51 CCE blurless...

Only nandroid backup & fixed sbf working together.
Motorola update, or stock sbf with rsd lite (same) not working with fixed sbf.
