★[GUIDE]★ [26 July 2018] Install MIUI 10 Global/China Beta + Google Play Store

IMPORTANT NOTES:
1. MIUI 10 incremental / delta OTA update zips cannot be flashed in TWRP. You need to flash full Recovery ROM zip after every update is released.
2. If you are coming from official MIUI 9 Stable or MIUI 9 Beta ROM or have an encrypted phone, you will need to format data to remove forced encryption. It will also delete all files from internal storage and user installed apps.
3. If you are on MIUI 10 China Beta ROM and want to install MIUI 10 Global ROM, you must wipe data.
4. If you are on MIUI 10 Global ROM and want to install MIUI 10 China ROM, you must wipe data.
5. MIUI 10 China Beta ROM gets more updates compared to MIUI 10 Global Beta ROM.

1. Bootloader should be unlocked !

INSTALLING MIUI 10 ROM USING TWRP:
1. Remove Mi Account/applock/fingerprints/pattern/password/PIN/app lock from Settings app
2. Boot into TWRP
3. Backup > Select all partitions
4. Wipe > Factory reset
5. Install > MIUI 10 ROM zip + Magisk zip together
6. Reboot > System > 5-6 minutes to boot


INSTALLING MIUI 10 ROM USING TWRP: (If you have encryption enabled)
1. Remove Mi Account/applock/fingerprints/pattern/password/PIN/app lock from Settings app
2. Boot into TWRP
3. Backup > Select all partitions > Select backup location to MicroSD card or transfer the backup to PC
4. Wipe > Format Data > Type "yes" (Internal storage will be wiped to remove encryption)
5. Reboot > Recovery
6. Wipe > Factory reset
7. Install > MIUI 10 ROM zip + Magisk zip together
8. Reboot > System > 5-6 minutes to boot


INSTALLING GOOGLE PLAY STORE: (Only for MIUI 10 China Beta ROM)
1. Install Google Installer v3 apk & open it. Click on Blue symbol, Google apps will start downloading.
2. Install each app one by one till 6 apps get installed - Play Store, Play Services, Services Framework, Account Manager, Calendar Sync, Contact Sync.
3. Go to Settings > Installed Apps > Search "google". Enable all app permissions, Disable App battery Saver, Enable Auto start for the above 6 apps.
4. Reboot your phone, open Play store app and sign into your Google Account.


UPDATING MIUI 10 ROM: (Only China to China / Global to Global)
1. Boot into TWRP
2. Install latest MIUI 10 ROM Zip + Magisk Zip
3. Wipe > Advanced Wipe > Select Cache & Dalvik Cache
4. Reboot > System > 5-6 minutes to boot

Once again, if he searched before asking he would know that Global Miui 10 beta for Mi Max 2 isnt out yet! Therefore, why there is a thread of how to install China Miui 10 beta for us Global users to try out!!! But thanks for your help
