Unfortunately no, there are slim to non chances mi max 2 will ever get android 8 based official rom.

Just a simple Miui 10 bootanimation that you can add to Op if you want

Just download bootanimation.zip and move to system/media and set permisions/reboot! Back up original bootanimation!
