this is the link for download the video of the full process i made that doesn't work https://we.tl/Z96LCquq0Z
the GPT is corrupt. do you have any chance to do all this with another sdcard reader. You are using an USB -> sdcard reader and thats maybe a reason (unlikely but..)
the other thing you can test is this:

Code:
sgdisk -l PrimaryGPT.bin
consider to test another GPT file as well (extracting another KDZ)

what means: it doesnt do anything? it sounds like you were able to flash a KDZ now?? that means the sdcard booted up fine. When you flash a KDZ ensure it matches the ARB version of the last firmware you installed otherwise it will not boot. im not sure what currently works and what not for you. explain with more details.

It means that now Im abale to flash an KDZ on my new sdcard without a problem however when I tried to boot up fom it the g4 doesnt do anything just stays with the screen black and isnt detected by the computer. I bought it "broken" and I never was able to boot it dont know wich version of ARB it have but beeing and H815 all of their KDZ are v0 no? (Im pressing the up button like the guide says)
BTW I mean to say that when the SD card is not present and I plug it on the computer detected it as 9008 but when the sd is present the computer does not detect anything. Is that the normal behavior?

This command was just to verify if the gpt file is valid or not. If you see a lot off partitions it's not corrupt which is good. So just use that again but with another sdcard reader. Follow the guide and after the disconnect and connect of the sdcard do a fdisk -l on the sdcard. It must show the same amount of partitions.

Good so the method described works for you now with the bigger sdcard as expected.

H815 do not have ARB that's correct.
When you flash a kdz it should work as long as you do not have a Frankenstein device! If the device has been refurbished it would explain why it doesn't work with kdzs of the h815..
Many phones have been sold as a model h815 or h811 or any other but with a mainboard of another model! When you boot it up it looks like a h815 and its shown everywhere but that's just the ROM and doesn't tell anything about the mainboard. The ONLY way to find out the mainboard model is to disassemble the phone and take a look at the front of the mainboard.
There is a guide in my signature (fix it list) which links to a site where disassembling is explained with photos.

I think I have an H815 because the motherboard says so (as shown in the picture) so really I don't know what is happening, it's possible to have an H815 with another model of KDZ flashed ? I mean having the H815 but flashed the H810 KDZ by error or something then I should install the KDZ of another model? What I can do now?

-------EDIT--------
Maybe the devices was usu'd for some reason I didn't try with the 2 method. I went to usu's thread but I couldn't understand how to get the raw data from the zip (or when what it is lmao) could you help me here @steadfasterX ?

well no idea then.
the fact that you can boot from sdcard with h815 files means u have still ARB 0.
it can't be UsU'd as if that would be the case it wouldn't go to 9008 mode when you flash a KDZ.

The only thing which come in my mind is that flashing a kdz while loading from sdcard would write to sdcard storage only and not the internal memory.
Try to start the fastboot mode while sdcard is in. If the device is unlocked (fastboot getvar all) you can flash there and hopefully get further.

Well, I can NOT boot from the SD card because i installed all the files connected the SD card, battery and cable to the computer and I can not get to download mode or anything it just stays black.
And I can't go to fastboot or anything. I can't flash any KDZ to the device itself.
That's why I was wondering if it was usu'd and that's why it can not boot. Any ideas??

How-To force booting from sdcard (e.g. when the device is NOT in 9008 / QDL mode)

You may know the 2-pin-bridge method which can enforce the 9008/QDL mode (on the back of the main board which is shown when disassembling the back cover).
Now you may think: you can enforce that mode by bridging these pins and then you could boot from sdcard as this guide here says 9008 mode is a requirement.

The answer is: NO. This will NOT work!

But there seems to be a way (which I personally never have tested!) to force that sdcard boot by doing the following.

Be aware: You do this on your own risk! Do not cry if something is failing/destroyed/whatever. Its totally up to you to proceed or not but its on your own risk like always when following guides.

  • prepare the sdcard as described in the above guide
  • insert the sdcard in the device
  • remove battery of the device
  • unplug usb cable
  • disassemble the back cover by loosen all screws
  • disassembling the mainboard like described here: fixit guide
  • on the FRONT of the mainboard find 5 (DAT0) and 6 (GND) as shown in the picture:
    View attachment 4454585
  • bridge these both and while bridging plugin the usb cable - WITHOUT TOUCHING anything with your fingers/body/soul on the mainboard!!!!
  • Keep thumbs pressed.. it may work if you flashed the correct files, with a matching ARB, in a correct way and [fill-on-on-whoever-u-believe-in] is with you
am sorry i dont understand circuits. what do you mean bridge? should i use a wire to connect the two DAT0 and GND? i dont understand please explain a little more.

H812 appearing as H811 in FWUL

So I accidentally flashed random files (h811 related files) on to my h812, bricked my device. I unbricked it using the sd card method and ran with that for a while. I was using lineage os 14.1 with the wrong modem so videos, sound, and a few others things didn't work properly. I checked the forum recently and saw you provided the proper fixes to my problems, my phone runs perfectly now on lineage 15.1, but I would like to be able to use the 32 GB sd card. Although without it, my phone does not work.

In this post, you mentioned that LGUP is needed to fully unbrick the device. I went into FWUL and confirmed that I did indeed flash h811 files. In the screenshot below, my h812 appears as if it were an h811 with ARB 3 which is higher then 2 so that's a problem. FWUL also reports that it is not USUed which it is, I get the secure boot error message when I boot the phone. Do I ignore and try the LGUP anyway or do I go into download mode and flash an h812 modem before LGUP? Is that possible or even a thing? I don't know. Thank you for your help in advance by the way.

Yea you need to bridge / shorten these pins. They must be connected with each other.

That's... Absolutely.. Strange... the SALT screen is... Impossible.. I believe you that it works but.. It shouldn't..

Why did you flash h811 files? That was stupid or well at least extremely risky especially when it comes to ARB!

Pls do a SALT basic backup when your sdcard is in.
Compress all those backup files except misc, modemst1 and modemst2 (those contain your imei).

Share that backup.

I think I was trying to flash the h811 modem to the h812 to fix the hardware issues. At that point I tried 20+ different combinations of installing modems with kernals and roms. I figured since the rom compabilty said h811 I could use the h811 modem on it, I was very wrong. I might have played around with the boot although I do not 100% remember if I actaully did
