Can be, yes, especially when you aren't using MIUI... .. . but there's hope, see below:I can't connect my redmi note 7 in PDC, all drivers installed, usb debugging activated.
Is it normal?
@All who didn't get diag mode:
Isn't this help you? #68?

The logic is that you only have to install QCOMDiagMode.apk and Magisk for root because if PDC does not see the phone while you are 100% sure that the diag mode is activated then the script part of the diag mode in the ROM is fsckd up and the app can help you - but if you consider this whole thread (or steps I described) to be a huge risk I honestly advise you not to even start the process.I'm using xiaomi.eu stable rom (10.3.3), vowifi activated but still doesn't work
my carrier (SFR in France) tell me they support vowifi
I read your link to connect mido as example, but sorry this is too hard for me, i don't want to take huge risks and mess up my redmi note 7 ^^
I can confirm that if you have BT Mobile use DT Greece and it works fine. I had to remove the EE Commercial one that was defaulting to, as everytime I rebooted it took precedence. I can now make and receive VoWIFI calls. I had to set DT Greece for Sub0 only.Does anyone know how to get this working on BT mobile UK? They use EE netwokr.
I have had EE commercial activated on sub0 and sub1 but its still greyed out in *#*#4636#*#* - Any ideas please?
Hey, I'm on EE. I've got the VO-LTE on and WiFi calling is enabled but it does not seem to work. I also have the EE commercial one as active. Do you suggest deleting EE and enable DT Greece? I'm on EE, Pocophone F1. It definitely works to enable DT Greece and deactivate EE commercial. If you want it to persist over reboots then you will have to delete the EE_commercial profile as it will revert to this otherwise. If you just wanted to test without destroying anything, just activate DT greece. I would back up your EFS partition before deleting profiles just in case.Hey, I'm on EE. The best test is to enable flight mode, then switch on wifi and see if you can make a call. For me, it shows in settings if I want to enable to wifi calling by default. I didn't do anything. I don't however see any icon while calling.
Thanks for your guide! Is dual WiFi calling possible?First of all a BIG thanks to edgonzo over at android-hubo[dot]de
He made this possible
This is the instruction to activate VoWiFi / WLAN Call on the Poco F1
Its tested and verfied to work with EU ROM (Oreo & Pie based) and german provider o2 (Telefonica)
Before you read on i want to make clear that I am not responsible for bricked devices !
Basic requirements are root rights to do this mod
Maybe latest 2017 Qualcomm Diag QD-Loader Windows 10 Drivers signed are needed for this to work.
!!! Before doing this Mod you should backup EFS-partition !!!
- download QPST tool and install
- enable USB debugging in Developer settings
- now either go to terminal app and type:
or
adb from PC
- connect Poco F1 with original USB cable to PC
- start PDC (from QPST tool) on PC
- Poco F1 should be recognized by PDC (if not install Qualcomm driver and check Device Manager)
- activate corresponding profile (in case of german o2 its DT_Greece)
- install VoLTE & VoWiFi Enabler Magisk module (optional) or activate setting with dialer code *#*#869434#*#*
- restart Poco F1
- Voila
Original thread (in german !)
Very late reply to your post, hopefully you are still around (or somebody with experience with Three UK).VoWIFI working on stock ROM locked bootloader with three network in UK after I got them to provision my sim for wi-fi calling. At first they said Pocophone f1 not compatible for wi-fi calling so I told them I will be moving to another network for my services and 15 minutes later I had wi-fi calling. Terrible I had to threaten to move company to get this service. Tested it and it works great.
Hi it could be that three have not provisioned you sim or you have not went in to SIM card settings and toggled WiFi calling on you phone. When you dialled *#*#869434#*# did you get the message "vowifi carrier cheklck disabled" if so and you have toggled WiFi calling in SIM card settings then you're SIM needs provisioned.Very late reply to your post, hopefully you are still around (or somebody with experience with Three UK).
Thanks for sharing that info. Good to hear you managed to get it working. Is it still working now? Recently moved house and the reception is very bad here so hoping this might solve the issue.
Don't fancy rooting my phone if I don't have to. Used *#*#869434#*#* to make sure the phone is checking for vowifi and it is. Am I right in thinking it is therefore simply a case of Three not having activated this on my account yet?
Many thanks!

There was me thinking for VoWiFi to work I should have it set to 'vowifi carrier check was enabled' but clearly that was a wrong assumption.
After going for 'disabled' the option is thereBeen testing for a bit and it seems to work.
Thanks for your help!
Isn't Poco F1 is working with Telekom by default? How should we know which is the corresponding profile to activate it? (In case of Telekom Hungary)
None of Xiaomi device VoWiFi supported by Telekom. In my case VoWiFi activated at service provider side (Telekom) and on the device as well but VoWiFi still doesn't work in practice.Isn't Poco F1 is working with Telekom by default?
Redmi Note 4-em van (Snapdragonos) és még abban is megy pedig jóval régebbi, csak a Digi-vel kell "trükközni".
Hm.. when I will have time I will recheck it on MIUI again by myself,..In my case VoWiFi..
