Sorry guys, not very active this days cuz of work! Coming back soon!!! Anyway @solis_f the startup config of the governor is indeed inside the init.qcom.post_boot.sh, even in miui rom is there.
You want a mi4c version of butterfly? i can do that but don't see the point, just use butterfly as it is... anyway i can arrange that.

Not really a butterfly! I can apply that myself if I want to, no point in asking you to do that for me :p But something a just a little bit more aggressive than your script. I love your work on 0.8 bit I noticed some stuttering from time to time.

Still can't make my battery last at least a day. I think I'm not that of a heavy user. I only had 3 hours SOT with 9% left. Data was only used atleast 6 hrs. Had a couple of messaging apps (FB, Messenger, Viber, Telegram) Spotify when riding going to and off to work only. Not an hour of emails, browsing and videos. I'm on MIUI.eu 7.5.4 stable.

Also this got me confused. Used Ex Kernel Manager and didn't saw the Touchboost option. The kernel setting based on Nexus5x (listed in OP) must turn off the Touchboost to benefit from the settings. Does this mean your script won't work? Is Mi 4C really supported?

Our kernel does not support touchboost so no need to turn it off. It's not there by default. The script will work exactly as said just ignore the touchboost part!

Hello

Would anybody provide a tutorial to install this? i have xiaomi.eu_multi_MI4c_6.11.17_v8-5.1. ROM

thx
just place the tao file in the /system/etc/init.d folder and give it 755 permissions

Thanks for the help, Im trying this in a phone with CYANOGENMOD 13.1, it seems init.d is not enabled, so im using kernel auditor.

1. There is no TAO.log in /data/system/perfd/default_values or in sdcard/
(it only appears when i apply it manually)

2. i double checked the apply on boot setting but it seems the script only applies when i do it manually.

3 is there any way to automate this? and how to confirm it's really applied?

4. in data/system/perfd/ default_values does not exist perfd folder is empty

Check if there is system/su.d

If yes put the tao file in there and reboot! Check with kernel auditor if the values are applied
