Galaxy s4 with snapdragon 800 here. You rock my man. Previously on default setting, the battery performance was bad. As in you open this page, scroll for 5 minutes and it already went down for more than 40%. Fml. But after this, this changes everything. Phone's battery life is a lot better now, though I did left with 9% of battery as of writing, coming from 50%. Hahaha. Thanks again man.

You might wanna consider changing the battery if it goes down 41% just from scrolling

Wait, does a bad battery drains during deep sleep as well? Because minr doesn't and I thought that's the sign that my battery is okay.
Depends on how many % does it drain overnight. Your active drain is worse than my Note 1, it still has 2 hours SOT after gaming a lot.

I always thought that full HD display is such a waste when we can do just fine with HD. Previously I was using Galaxy S3, and SOT could easily go beyond 3 hours. Now with this S4 LTE-A, despite having similar spec to note 3, the drain seems a lot more worse. I'll consider changing the battery first, then see how it goes. Hopefully you're right that my battery's busted.

Hi,

What I don't understand, is that no matter which Kernel app I use, it won't let me type in anything more than just one number into "above_hispeed_delay", which by default is "19000".

I have tried two Custom Kernels and I can type in settings like you show above for "above_hispeed_delay", into the "target_loads" setting, for example.

So what do I do? As I said, I've tried 2 Custom Kernels and 4 different Kernel apps and I'm nowhere near the Kernel expert you are, but thanks to your explanations, everything you said about it makes perfect sense and I'd love to have a lot smoother performance! I do get a lot of "stuttering" for lack of a better word!

Thanks! :)

I use the the fku updater app the paid version and all my settings stick on my g3 and my m8
Yea, but not everyone has a Franco Kernel. :)
