Does not work for me on 6.1.1. Stock Rom with Hacker Kernel V15.5. My only option is to flash the stock boot.img in recovery for fully unroot. :(

Hmm, never tried it on stock rom in the first place. Have you tried flashing the zip file? (Update-unSU?) If that zip does not work, try this one: https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24269982087014111. I believe it worked for another people that was having an issue. Give it a try and see if it works. :)

Yes i already tried the zip. Dunno why it's not bypassing. After flashing root/magisk, safetynet will not pass :/. Its quite annoying cause i need root for Viper4Android.

Confirmed to be working on Alexis ROM 8.0 stable, passing safety net.

I've also installed system xposed by wanam and use root switch to pass safety net.

Thanks very much for the guide.

Worked...but didn't?

Hello!

I got this working after some trial and error, but a couple hours later, it wasn't working again. I installed some apps afterwards that may have caused the issue, so I'm gonna start over from square 1 and see what happens.

For reference, I'm on a Galaxy S6 (920T), followed your tutorial completely installing Alexis and Twisted as the base.

*UPDATE* Second run went more smoothly, equally successful. Made a full backup of the results (Hoping they can be restored through TWRP if I mess it up again)

*UPDATE 2* SafetyNet failed after installing SystemLess XPosed from this thread https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/unofficial-systemless-xposed-t3388268

Uninstalling XPosed returned the checks to working! (Sadly...I really would like to have XPosed and Pokemon Go on the same phone! :p ..among other things...)

Are you for sure setting the permissions of enforce to 640 and policy to 440 in /sys/fs/selinux?

The person that replied prior to you posting said they were were able to bypass with Xposed using Root Switch

That worked for me! ^_^ Not a seamless experience, but only a minor disruption (the reboot).

Not sure how I missed that post! Thanks! ^_^

Yes i changed it manually in my root Explorer and executed the script in kernel auditor for being sure and checked the permissions. They were both correct. Perhaps the stock rom is causing my trouble but i dont really think so.

I'm completely dumbfounded. Sucks to know that Stock Rom doesn't work lol. Maybe try Root Switch?

Nope Rootswitch doesn't work as well for me. I already tried multiple alternatives, but it comes with the same result. So I'm stucking on fully unroot with a clean boot.img flash to play tru Safetynet. But thanks anyways for your advises. :good:

Why don't you try a light rom like XtreStolite?

I used XtreStolite until the day it didnt recieve any more updates and the security-patch was outdated as hell. Furthermore my Stock DBT rom has some extrafeatures
which never appeared for me in any Custom Rom, like a downloadspeed indicator in the notificationbar. I won't change my rom again, until they releasing nougat or new Pokemon in Pogo. :D

Tested this on a z3 compact, 7.1.1 carbon rom, no luck unfortunately.
That sucks man. Supposedly 7.1.1 is a gamble for bypassing Safetynet. I've had some users say that their device (like S7) on 7.1.1 can bypass, and I have some users say that their device (like OnePlus 3) on 7.1.1 cannot bypass.

cant bypass safetynet

the 1st time it did not even work so i removed magisk and installed the UPDATE-unSU-signed.zip and then reinstalled magisk again, but safetynet works now but fails 2nd step ash show in picture
Perform a clean install of your preferred Rom and Kernel. Once that is done, use this version of 'unSu' here https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24269982087014111 and continue with the tutorial. Sometimes that specific version of unSu ("UPDATE-unSU-signed.zip") fails to remove the root. Also remember that Safetynet will always fail until you're at the last step. (Setting permissions.)

ok clean install again of offical rom, but as follows the 1st time i check safetynet i get "attachment 1" i remove the su and magisk in twrp and reinstall magisk again and i get this "attachment 2", anyone can help me ?
Have you tried a rom such as Alexis Rom? I personally reinstalled it last night, flashed Arter97 kernel (because Twisted wasn't fully unrooting for some reason); did the tutorial and I'm passing no problemo.
