hey brother, I flashed the modified 2.7.0.0 recovery image (f2fs) from that thread, flashed it with flashify, downloaded slim minmal gapps, downloaded your tweaked vanir, factory resetted the n7, then flashed the tweaked vanir, then slim aio gapps. *that* hung on the vanir boot screen. did another factory reset, only flashed the tweaked rom. that hung on the boot screen too.

any ideas?

thank you again for this!

edit...for kicks, i flashed the a68 kernel on top of the tweaked rom(well out of desperation really)

it now works. odd.

I thought that was the purpose of the tweaked vanir rom you gave me?

for some reason it did not boot until I did that kernel flash! it is odd, I know. have no idea why...but now the device is like a new tablet. so smooth, screen not jumping, keyboard is responsive. so happy.

just flashed paranoid 4.41 following this guide, and so far things seem to work.

not enough space in the system partition to install pa's 4.4 full gapps package.

what can i test to make sure?

I recently converted my tilapia to F2FS. But the question is how to view the files in Windows PC ?
Search for the Google usb drivers. It uses MTP for transferring data so it won't matter what the filing system is on your tablet. It is also the proper adb drivers for Windows.

Does this work with SlimLP?
If so, won't we need a different boot.img (and, possibly, a different updater-script) to add to the ROM?

Does anybody test this with later 2.8.3.0 TWRP or, in any case, we need a dedicated TWRP for this.
I'm saying because I use MultiROM that is already a modified TWRP...
