grab solid explorer, give it root access and edit the file at /product/op/
1634916412254.png

add a new line matching your nterror (take a screenshot of it if you dont know)

edit: i suggest solid explorer because it doesn't **** the file permission
edit2: the ftm edit never worked on my phone so i do it directly in the OP partition usually

Dude, wtf I reloaded ftm via qfil with OPEN_EU "1","FFF,FFF,FFFFFFFF,FFFFFFFF,11" then went back and read data on ftm, loaded in hex editor to confirm Open_Eu. Rebooted and rechecked cust_path_mapping.cfg and sure enough it was OK. Line one reads FFFFFFF,FF=/product/OP and still getting NT Code 0 ??

I've never fixed an issue like this.. so i don't know.. maybe some people over on TG can help you with that..
I was gonna go back to stock and qfil-ed just old abl_b and boot_b hoping I could just get back into twrp which was already loaded into boot. It was a nogo so then I saw your post about TG and decide to reload EU abl and boot and low and behold now have ntcode fffffff 11. Am I to think now it can't find info in cust_path_mapping.cfg?

ntcode problem solved! No error message now but still nogo on phone/data!
do a factory reset and then try the 4636 menu again

all this here :
try to go in the hidden menu (*#546368#*500#) > field test > modem settings > lte-a ca setting > all enable

or in the *#*#4636#*#* menu and make sure your preferred network type make sense.
or in the same menu, the 3 dot option on the top right corner > select radio band > United states

after that, make sure the network mode in settings is correct for your carrier.

    Hi..

I've made some easy files to flash in QFIL for sprint owner. This will give you a debloated A11 on your phone. Took me a while, but i finally got deepsleep working.. So I feel like this is worth sharing. I will likely update that guide with the korean android 11 once it's released.

This was tested by Arkadii on TG. (and myself)

What's broken: (using the canadian OP provided, I lightly tested the EU OP, so I can't provide a list for it)
    - Vowifi
    - no volte toggle (but it's working..)
    - lg mobile switch
    Downloads:
    OP: (download one)
    ( I use this one :) )

    Step 0.
    Extract All downloaded zip.
You should have 7 bin files.
    Step 1.
    Unlock bootloader...
    Step 2.
Disable vbmeta. (Important! Likely needed for other crossflashing roms too)
    - Get in QFIL
    - backup vbmeta and abl
    - Flashback the eng abl from the unlock bootloader guide (from step 1)
    - boot fastboot on your phone and plug it in your pc (note which slot (a or b) you are using right now)
    - Using the backed up vbmeta, open cmd and enter the following command:
    - fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.bin
    - fastboot oem edl
    Step 3.
Make a backup of everything you flash on.
(use the read option before using the write one lol, don't forget to rename the file before switching to another one)
Flash the following partitions in QFIL, (using the downloaded files)
your phone should have already rebooted in EDL with the last command.
Product, Vendor, System, OP, ABL, Boot, DTBO
    Step 4.
    Master Reset..
The same factory reset combo from any other lg phone..
some user report simply holding vol- + power works for them too...
    Step 5.
    Setup the device..
Everything should be working except deep sleep.
    Step 6.
    Fixing deep sleep....
Boot in EDL again and flash the following modem in QFIL:
    (extract the zip before)
    Step 7.
    Reboot the phone.
    Go in network tab..
Switch the network mode to "GSM / WCDMA / LTE auto" ...
This one works for me.. you might have to put airplane mode or go in the *#*#4636#*#* and try different preferred network type.. (5g will never work on this phone....)

    Step 8.
    Enjoy!

For other people enjoying early access to other A11 roms, or even Nemo's rom! The modem from step 6 should work fine with them (and will solve deepsleep issue). If you are a rom maker, please refer to this thread when adding the modem to your rom :)

    Have a nice day.

    ps. Time to sleep

Now wondering if it should be set back to OPEN_EU "1","FFF,FFF,FFFFFFFF,FFFFFFFF,11"?
I just discovered a fix for this.

Go to engineering menu *#546368#*500# (500 is the number of your phone variant, aka 500EM)

    Go to SVC Menu
    Go to MID Info

There you can see and modify IMEI, WIFI MAC, BT MAC... and NT Code.

(is from my V35, but must work for V50 too)
Check the proper code on the list below for the firmware u got flashed, and overwrite it.

After done, reboot and no more error msg. :)

The install of this was ok but the battery life of this rom was horrible. you will get less then 4 hours compared to 11 on the sprint rom. You will also have no fast charging. so your battery drains fast and it takes forever to charge. If your looking for volte in America this dose not work. follow this thread on your factory rom, and your volte will work https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/lg-g8-volte-fix.4113291/page-2#post-85455109.

I reset my device and got 5g working again after xflashing.... I made some notes this time for fixing NT-code errors and getting 5g back, they are below. Hope this is helpful...

So after crossflashing, make sure to flash eng_abl in qfil

    fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta-original.bin

Without doing this, the part of the phone which holds NT-codes remains non-writeable, so this error will continue. Also, you may not be able to rewrite original modem_a/b or ftm... you won't get any type of error though, so be sure to disable-verity... you may also do this by flashing a disable-verity zip in twrp.

replace ftm and modem_a/b with original partitions you had backed up earlier in qfil
    reboot

you should now still have NT-Code error but also have cell signal if a sim card is present.

in phone app enter *#*#4636#*#* phone information, then three dots, select radio band, choose automatic or US.... back at phone info menu, down drop down Set preferred network type to "NR/LTE/CDMA/EcDO/GSM/WCDMA". Go back and 5G should now be working provided you have 5G signal, although rebooting will reveal the NT-Code error is still present.

    gain root

now let's fix that pesky NT-code error go to play store, sign in and get Solid explorer.
verify you have root, then back to solid explorer, go to root directory, then /product/OP/cust_path_mappings.cfg and open it in Solid explorer.

depending on what the actual NT-code error is (look at that screenshot you took of it earlier), you need to add those lines to this .cfg file. In this case on tmobile in the US, the received error contained 'Can't find matched carrier. Check NT-Code: 310120,312530:FF,FF.' So, in the /Product/OP/cust_path_mapptings.cfg file, follow the existing format there and added lines at the end which are contained in ones error message, in this example those lines will be:
    310120,FF=/product/OP/
    312530,FF=/product/OP/

Now you may also delete the lines at the top, but you may leave them also... might be handy if ever traveling abroad to Europe (no idea actually)

then save the file. exit, and then restart the phone to see....
    NT-code error gone, 5g working.
