let's try

If fastboot won't flash the system.img dump it into a rom and flash via my recovery.
Why not if it works well, could you show me what to downlad and how to do to flash your rom please ?

---------- Post added at 06:10 AM ---------- Previous post was at 06:06 AM ----------

what happens when you flash it manually from the command line?
What is the command line ? I tryed to flash many times with zip,img,gzip... On flashtools. And I tryed to install zip from sdcard in a custom recovery I found on the net. With flashtools it says allways the fastboot or system problem, with custom recovery the installation of zip is always aborted

Code:
fastboot flash system <path to system.img>

You have to unpack the system.img you are trying to flash and build a flashable rom from it.

LOL but I am a beginner and I don't know how to build one, and if you look at my previous posts, the problem is always with system.img file...

That picture means nothing to me, I don't use windows, I don't use that type of tool, I only use fastboot or my recovery. SDC and others brag on that type of tool, as for me I see users like yourself unable to use it, so to me the tool is useless.

Sorry to hijack this thread but there really isn't a place to ask questions about the specifics of this tablet. Was thinking about picking one up to replace my aging Nexus10. Is it a worthy upgrade? I've also read that there is some confusion about the device being able to read NTFS on the MICROSD. True or false?
If you could quote me in your reply so I get the notification that would be great. Thanks all.

So i assume that you have installed all Intel drivers which come with Phone Flash Tool.
As i wrote earlier, i don't use XP, however when comparing to my setting, I noticed something different in the picture you posted; where it says Browse flash file, your path looks like this :
D:/documents/Tele..../YT2-830F_USR_S067_141105_WW21_ROW/target_bin.zip !

I checked it on two different laptops, and it doesn't show any ".zip" suffix. - it look like this:
C:/(your folder name which doesn't matter that much)/YT2-830F_USR_S067_141105_WW21_ROW/target_bin/flash.xml

Just to be sure, move the firmware files (all of them) in a different folder, such as your desktop.
Also, did you try to change "Force sparsing" from the default 100MB, to 500Mb in Phone Flash Tool options ? if you didn't, do it now and then try to flash the firmware, one more time.

BTW, Windows does not recognize this tablet as a "Mass Storage Device, no matter which version you use (XP , Vista, 7). it shows it as a "Portable Media player" device, without any drive letters.
However, you should be able to access your files on the internal/external SD without any problems.
I finally won against the system.img file ! :D I can flash it with Phone Flash Tool but I have got an other problem... I can't boot android too..
When I flash with all the files with flash.xml, I have got this message :
02/12/15 18:54:41.877 WARNING: Port 0/1/2: Failed to execute ""C:/Program Files (x86)/Intel/Phone Flash Tool/fastboot.exe" -s Baytrail9860631E oem eraseRow":

02/12/15 18:54:48.058 WARNING: Port 0/1/2: Failed to execute non mandatory command fastboot -s Baytrail9860631E oem eraseRow, ignoring error

Is it the problem or not ? How could I use back my tablet normally ?

Bootloop, problem mounting system

Look at it, the 2first pictures are with PhoneFlashTool, and the 2 others are with your CWM. The problem seams to be a bootloop, and it seems to come from the fact I can't mount system.img. Why can't I mount it ? How could I solve this problem ? Thanks for your help

You can't mount system cause of the garbage PhoneFlashTool, it damaged your tablet, just like it has to others, only advice is to never use such a horribly designed tool. Only use fastboot, adb and or custom recoveries to modify partitions

I don't have your tablet, so no way for me to give you a step by step how to fix it.

I posted a guide for dell venue 8, you can look at it, make changes needed per your tablet.

My screen name there is TK.

I don't know how you change the partition in the file... is it possible to do it for me ? I joined partition.tbl as a zip file

Dual Boot

I bought myself the Yoga 2 8" (android 4.4.2) with the intention of Rooting it and setting up dual boot, so i can run windows when i need to.
Now i HAVE the device I've realised that there probably wont be a lollipop update for it (since lenovo have released an lollipop update list and none of the yogas are on it), there is no dedicated XDA forum for it and there is so windows rom available. What do you guys think? is any of this likely to change? will there be development on this device to such an extent that we'll see custom roms for it? and dual booting? I got it from Amazon yesterday, and i'm already considering sending it back to order the windows version.
the android rom on it is horrible, bloaty and IOSy. :(

When you say
"then run my recovery script

#!/bin/bash
./fastboot flash /tmp/recovery.tar ./recovery.tar
./fastboot flash /tmp/recovery.envsetup ./recovery.envsetup
./fastboot flash /tmp/recovery.fstab ./recovery.fstab
./fastboot flash /tmp/postrecoveryboot.sh ./postrecoveryboot.sh
./fastboot flash /sbin/partlink recovery.launcher
./fastboot oem stop_partitioning"

Where and how do I make this ?
