CyanogenMod 10 on N7105

Disclaimer

Firstly I want to point out that this is NOT my work, I am simply writing a guide on how all of this ties together so that you can install the AT&T Galaxy Note 2 CM10 port (and have it work perfectly!)

Instructions

1.) Download the latest copy of the AT&T CM10 ROM from: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=34897588&postcount=1

2.) Download the following gapps: http://goo.im/gapps/gapps-jb-20121011-signed.zip

3.) Download the radio specific for your device at: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2031575

4.) Copy all of these files over to your phone

5.) (Optional) Backup your existing ROM in your recovery manager *recommended*

6.) Wipe system, cache and dalvik cache

7.) Install the ZIPs in the following order:

- CyanogenMod AT&T ZIP
- gapps
- radio

Now reboot and you should be running the latest GM10 on a Galaxy Note 2 LTE.

I have only found two quirks with this build, one of which is that our device is now defined as a Galaxy Note 2 (AT&T) - I fixed this by tweaking the values in /system/etc/build.prop - this isn't really important though - just personal preference. The second 'issue' is that the in-call volume isn't great. I have improved this and written a guide on how to do it over at:

http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=36044783&postcount=676

Final Note

I want to make it absolutely clear that I did *NOT* do anything magical here, I simply wrote a guide on how to put all of the various parts that are already out there together. The real hero of this is madmack for all of his hard work he's done on the AT&T port. I just wanted to help some of you guys not yet 'in the know' get CM10 running on your devices. :)

Which LTE modem will work with rogers?

I've just flashed a modem that I thought worked with Rogers LTE network, but my phone is simply rebooting itself, once I cleared the cache and wiped all the data I got as far as the signup state but the phone simple reboots with an error and then reboots back into a loop.

Can i do the same with any of the roms from t-mobile and at&t? Using N7105 from singapore. So i just flash a compatible radio over after that?

most roms is not inclouded radio like cm10 or miui in that point you donot needed radio to flash over your existing radio works fine as long as rom comes with radio then you need to flash radio over.thats what know.

Hey! if anyone here is on Vigin Australia network and wanting CM10.1.... If your note 2 screen flickers and only soft keys respond... wait 10 minutes or so and then press the home key... it should appear :)
