For anyone having trouble of their PC don't recognize Razer phone in download mode, stuck on waiting for device. I found a workaround on my Windows 10 PC that might help.
Using a different version of Minimal ADB and fastboot installer here:

Connect your phone in download mode to the PC and install the Google USB driver via update drive in Device Manager.

My PC was able to recognize the phone in download mode, then was able successfully unlocked the bootloader.

Could it be something wrong with the device you are trying to connect to? Do you have another device you can try connect with hotspot and see if it works?

My debranded phone works fine on O2 network using hotspot. I debranded with MR1 image, then OTA to MR3 then Oreo. Did a factory reset before setup the phone with my Google account.Anyone have trouble using their hotspot with Three UK on 8.1 after debranding?
Mine turns on, connects up fine, but can't get internet access on the connected device.
I flashed Go unbranded MR3, then upgraded OTA to 8.1.
Locked bootloader, all stock![]()
