Just attempted to pm enable com.sec.vowifispg and it states unknown package. I am referring to the T-mobile variant not the Verizon. My guess is the wifi packages are named differently.



have confirmed this is checked. It just states under wi-fi calling settings "enabling"

If any other T-mobile user flashes this, can you let me know if your wifi calling continues to work afterwards? I unfortunately don't have the time to flash stock, reroot, and re-setup everything tonight.

Edit 1: luckily I had a flash fire backup made. Got that flashed and reinstalled everything up until this zip file and my Wi-Fi calling works perfect again(as perfect as it can/s). I'm not sure what is removed during this zip file being flashed but it breaks T-Mobile variant S7's. So if you have a T-Mobile variant I'd stay away from it for now.

I'd be really interested to know which package it is that controls your Wi-Fi calling if you get it figured out. And uh, sorry for being a condescending prick -- low blood sugar and a flood of PMs who regularly ask obvious questions over here.

@psouza4 I've added AT&T bloatware to your existing script. I do have a much larger list of safe to remove apk's,but will save that for later. From fresh reset I went from 192 in system to 997mb free after my additions. Thanks for getting the first cleaner out,enjoy the ATT bloat killer. I also junked some google apps from system. It better to just download google extras such as music/youtube blah blah

Thanks for your list -- very helpful. I think I'll move BasicDreams, canid, Kies, and LocationAgent to a freeze script as I can see some users wanting them still. Your additions for the AT&T bloat are excellent though and I'm also adding Maps, Gmail2, etc. as they can be downloaded from the Play Store too -- unnecessary bloat, woo.

I can send you an archive of the files you're looking for from my SM-G930V if you want (that's what I personally have access to), but you'll have to tell me exactly what files you want -- I'm not familiar with the FM radio drivers.


Like @cuezaireekaa said, I would strongly recommend you not uninstall anything that you don't want to permanently lose. One mistake and you may need to go back to flashing a stock image to fix it. Freezing an app is far more forgiving.

I'm not sure what files either, radio-iris-transport.ko, and an FM_APP folder are a few I know of though.

i can always do what i did in the past and that is separate all related drivers/libs, apks etc. for each item removed for easy side loading if need be plus ppl actually know what they are/do.

i recommend not removing anything without knowing what it does/effects, i noticed in past putting out debloated scripts/roms ppl tend to request more crap be added back then removed lol not to mention some are so minute that they have 0 to little actual impact on battery..

i notice greenify doesnt workas good as it does on L imo, have you had better experience?

Yep, but I've enabled the Xposed module and toggled on all the Xposed/experimental features. It works fantastically for me.

Atleast I know my wifi calling is working and then if I freeze that exact one it stops. Hope that helps

My S7 is rooted and debloated. I tried to use the Gear VR and it told me to update the software. I clicked on the download several times, tried to reboot the phone several times, and it just downloaded and jumped back to he same screen. Does anyone know what's the problem? That seems like something debloating can cause. Check your logcat for exceptions to find out what package is dying and then restore that app.

I haven't been able to figure it out. The blue notice at the bottom is the result of tapping the alarm. The red stuff I couldn't find either.

Okay, a few things:

(1) I don't mind trying to help you with your specific issue, but I make no guarantees (as I disclaimed in the main post) -- deep debloat is intended to disable just about everything that isn't critically vital for your phone to act as a phone, for the most part, so this issue should be anticipated and it's reasonable to presume people can either debloat on their own (unfreeze) or can follow the logs to trace package dependencies in case of issues like this. Short version: I'll do what I can, but if it's not working I am okay with leaving it not working.

(2) Filter your logcat to errors only. Currently you have it set to show everything including debug (lowest), info (second lowest), and warnings (middle). We don't really need to worry about that and it makes it difficult to read when unfiltered.

(3) Please post a log if possible, not a screen cap. There's only so much that fits on screen during a screen cap.

(4) Clear the log first. I haven't used the app you're using now, but at a command prompt over ADB, it's simply ADB LOGCAT -c. Likewise, you can read the log from a command prompt over ADB by typing ADB LOGCAT *:E, then you can copy/paste results once you try to open your alarm app.

You can filter and export with acatlog. I'm afraid the screenshot shows the only errors and the result of trying to launch alarm, which is informational level.
