yes i believe this is to be follow with OP's set of instruction to be flash. but do not quote me on it as i have yet to try too.
I mean if you flash the L19C626 oeminfo and custom.bin from the SRK Tool over a L09C432, you will get a L19C900 due to the fact you will have a L19C626 oeminfo on a L09C432 firmware.

Thx for that guide.
Unfortunatly I'm not able to flash the b361 version (nor B360). I got a "failed to check update package". Everything else went fine.
I'm now in C432B182 with bootloader locked, not rooted.

Any idea ?
Thx

Edit : one of the issue is that when downloaded files are copied to the mobile, the copy failed at some point of time. The files size are really different , near half the size they should be.
So I copied the 2 files (update.zip and update_data_full_hw_eu.zip) to the dload folder, then ran a manual flash, but I still got a "check package failed " :(

Don't know what to do now

Edit 2 : Finally get B378 by using HiCare "Early adopter option" !

So you went form B182 straight to B378?

Yes i know abt this. What i meant is that i will follow OP method to unlock bootloader, flash twrp and L19C636 oem info, and reflash a stock L19C636 rom in, it shld be it.

Correct me if i am wrong.

Technically speaking, it should work but what I have noticed with this phone is that the same method does not work for everyone and I dont know why that is the case. Do give it a try and let us know how it went.

Nice!! after a very careful reading of this guide, and understanding what things to do from the linked steps guides... I just got it!!
I debranded my L09 Latin America C25 to the European C432, time consuming indeed but worth it.

One thing I had to do, not as stated in the guide, is that in order to reboot into the TWRP I had to use the SRKToolHuawei-Lod-Chong-V2.0 / Utilities submenu/ reboot to recovery. Because the buttons combination always got me into the Huawei eRecovery. But now in TWRP I flashed the oeminfo c432 zip, factory reset, and wipe dalvik/cache partitions. After this I proceed with the reflashing of the first step firware, factory reset and wipe partitions this time with the Huawei Recovery instaled by the firmware (diferent than the eRecovery) and then after boot I started to receive the MM OTAs, and the last step is to use the Huawei Updater 2.0 to flash the Nougat, and that was all. Even Nougat OTAs works. I'm no beta tester, nor ever did Root.

thanks!

Great guide! Reading through it seems easier for it to be managed through hisuite/windows but I have a big issue. For some reason my computer won't recognize my phone! I installed the beta and am on build number EMUI-A168-L09C900B040SP11-log and since doing this stupid move I have been unable to connect to a computer nor install other builds or rollbacks directly on the device so I just feel like smashing it and claiming the insurance. Is there any advise that could be offered to maybe force a firmware upgrade?

I done the same and had to return the phone to Giffgaff and they repired the phone. Put in a new board I think as the Imei number has changed. I have since learned that you can download rollback package from here ttp://consumer.huawei.com/uk/support/mobile-phones/p9_uk-sup.htm it will get your phone back to being recognised by USB etc

Thanks, I have tried the aussie rollback package without success. Anything I try and flash over the current firmware only gets to about 50% then crashes so I'm at the point of sending it off to be fixed as well. On a side note I got it connected to the pc after mucking around with cables and the only way it would work was through a usb 3.0 port which I didn't think of until last of course

Did you manage to update it to 182 as I am getting the same issue?
Is there anyone else having the same issue as us, I have just flashed to 138 again upgraded to 166 then did a wipe/reset still can't see the 182 update via updater?
Not sure in this thread or another but someone else has the issue and when contacted customer support they said 166 was latest for UK.

Yeah read that in another thread as well, guess we are stuck on it for now.
I just manually flashed 182 which you can download from: http://www.carbontesla.com/2016/11/download-huawei-p9-b182-marshmallow-update-europe/

after this was able to carry on the steps and have been on B378 for about a week now love it, so much better

Hi there, thanks for the reply. It says that you must be on B170. Did you just go from B166 to B182?
You should be able to flash it to B182 from B166. There may be a chance you will not get the OTA for B378 from B361 and you may need to manually flash B378 if you want it.

updating to 361 now using the huawei update 2.0 all going well, thanks!
Good to know. I will attempt the same. Let me know if you had to wipe your data or anything, cheers.
