I did all the steps mentionned above but now i'm presented to a blackl screen asking me for a password to decrypt the storage, I removed all fingerprints and codes prior to that, what did I do wrong?

Bln-l22 model of honor 6x does not have nfc so it removes the apps and packages that handle nfc

Stuck with data partition damaged

Hi I did follow the steps as the first post by OP to debrand from L24 to L22. However I got the data partition is badly damaged error. I also tried to use the dload method to update but it gets stuck at 5% and then the phone restarts. Now I am stuck at Huwawei recovery screen download page. It is asking me to download latest version and recovery using wifi. After I enter the wifi details, it says could not get package details from server.

Please help how can I restore my honor 6x

EDIT:

Ok so i was able to go into fastboot mode and unlock bootloader...i now updated using dload method and was bale to boot the phone. However the dialer and other apps are crashing. Any help ?

Flash the data zip via dload.
