I think that the US variant (BLN-L24) does NOT have the same hardware as other versions
successfully rebranded to BLN-L22 and BLN-AL10 per "About Phone" but still cannot connect to LTE bands available in those variants for some reason

Sucessfully changed from berlin (eu) to india (asia)

Thanks a ton :victory: today I did it and it was smooth actually I bought Honor 6x from amazon.com and shipped that to India. I was having the BLN-L24 (B368) WITH EMUI (5.0.1) which I changed to BLN-22. The EU version was smooth like heaven but the only issue was that I was not getting the VOLTE and jio was working fine with the jio4voice app but then I decided to change until today. Thanks mate the instruction was easy to follow as I have experience of rooting and flashing the ROM previously still you wrote in such a manner that everyone can follow. Just want to tell you brother  :highfive: thanks a lot !!

I installed the BLN-L22C675B340 and I updated it to BLN-L22C675B360 (the update is working fine)

About Debranding

I just did rebranding correctly of BLN-L24 (USA) for India version and then for Europe version BLN-L21 what I needed with this is to get my phone to work in Cuba's 3G band which is 900 MHZ but nothing, no It works for me, only 2G (EDGE), I need to know several things, first if the Indian and European versions have the 900 MHZ band or there is some International 6x Honor version to see if I can get mine to work. Thank you.

This was my experience as well. I could not get my US variant (BLN-L24) to pick up additional bands for 3G/4G/LTE. I tried BLN-L21/L22/A10 and BLL-L22 with no avail.

Hello all,

Does anyone have a working link or can send me the file for the Huawei multi tool? Need to restore oem info on my device but can find no working link. Any help appreciated, thanks.

Thank you!

Thanks for posting this. This helped to debrand my BLN-L24 to BLN-L22. I am a total noob to rooting/flashing android phones.

A small step I ignored was unlocking root and installing supersu using the multi tool. A bullet point on that would be great in the instructions.

Also, I only get HSPA speeds on vodafone network. Is there a way around to get 4G LTE on the debranded phones?

if you were not able to get LTE even after rebranding, then it means your hardware does not support it. I had similar experience with a different carrier and was only able to get 2G

I was able to get LTE on US networks though.
Right, but it might not have the hardware for other LTE bands outside of US. I basically spent all the time rebranding to India/Europe/China variants, and none of the LTE bands worked. Basically went back to BLN-L24 so I can at least use it in the US.

Hi there .I want to rebrand from bll-l21c185b378 to bln-a20c00 from nought-meddile east to oreo Chinese . Install oeminfo successfully after that I try to load ( data_al20_hw ) but it failed . It say incompatible . I try to do that via twrp but failed too . I see another post that say flash userdata.zip first to give the phone model number and then flash update.zip .... soo now I stacked with model number bln-a20 8.0.0.508 and nought 7.0
And something else I try to flash version.img it success but now I don't have SIM card work

There is no custom bin for Chinese variant (i have not seen but i could be wrong).
Debranding to China version is bit complicated as sim card doesn't work. You may need to downgrade to MM and then update to Nougat and then to oreo. Should have wait till oreo arrived for your model. Its only oreo and will not turn your phone into iphone. Have patience mate. Couple of guys already tried rebranding to China version and reported this issue. Atleast read and understand the consequences of doing it.
