The best part about restoring your phone is the stock firmware doesn't include all the sprint crap if you don't use it!!!!!

OK I should rephrase. I've been using all the links in OP and I am not getting all the sprint apps. I get sprintID and nothing else, which means no WIFI calling. Why is that

If I remember right, and it's in a thread here somewhere, you need to call Sprint and tell them you don't have WiFi calling. They'll have you do a dialer code to reset your phone.
Then you'll have it.
I'll see if I can find a link.

So if you asked for su in shell it would give you an error?

I did some looking, I wonder if issuing these command manually would work. The phone needs to be plugged into the computer and then turn it on. As its turning on:

(7)adb -d shell su -c "mount -o remount rw /system"

I changed one thing in build.prop (An optimization, specifically the line: "debug.composition.type=c2d") with root file explorer and now my phone is in a boot loop. I'm pretty sure all I have to do is get the original build.prop in /system but I can't get adb to work. Even apart from the build.prop you hosted a link to, root file explorer saved my original one as build.prop.bak so I have that too.

Is there any tricks to accessing adb while booting, I can't quite put the puzzle together with the info here.

Another thing I've noticed but isn't a big deal. Has anyone who's used the .tot noticed that the sprint spark boot ani is gone? I still get the little sun icon spinning so I'm guessing i still am getting the "spark".

Ive noticed that which leads me to think that this isn't a complete spark .tot. maybe the ## code that we actually need reflashes the sprint boot animation but I was wondering if it was complete stock because of that change.

That's odd. I also just noticed an app called mobilezone and when selected it asks to agree to installing 3rd party apps or something to that nature. Once i agreed it just failed. Oh and the icon is just an android with a cube on its chest...
