as far as i know there's no root yet for the newer Sony phones including all the Z5 series because of a new technology Sony is using.

You can make a calls and send messages. Seriously dude no offence here but if you have rooted your past device then its all the same. But beware this is a risky business. Backup all you can

I get stuck at step 5: open SuperSU and click on blue button. The screen hangs at the progress bar Preparing environment...

Tried uninstall and install again, still the same issue.

I am planning to uninstall v4.6 and install v4.5 but have a other prob. How can I completely remove v4.6? It does not fully uninstall but goes to disabled apps.

flash official ftf from Flashtool without wipe datas and caches.You dont lose anything and it will repair system folder in your handy :good:

If you unlock your device without Backup-TA(search on xda),you will lose your DRM KEYS(Bravia Engine,Image Enchancer,Noise Canceling....).You can save your TA partition with BACKUP TA.If you want to use again Stock Rom and your DRM Keys,you musst use this Script and backup your TA.
