I inställdes Cyanogen 12.1 and it works great. The only thing that got worse is the microphone. This is my wifes phone and when I speak to her the sound from her microphone crackles. Are there any mod the makes it sound like on the Xperia stock version?

I installed kingroot v4.6 and follow the steps. But the step 6 doesn't work for me.
I can't update my binaries. It fails again and again... It says "reboot and try again".

I am on android 5.1.1 [.222], XPERIA Z

Xperia Z c6616 5.1.1 successfully rooted

Just wanted to say thanks for the attachments.

I was able to root my US T-Mobile branded Sony Xperia c6606 with c6616 firmware 5.1.1 using the Kingo Root 4.6 after several tries.

I tried both 4.5 and 4.6 King Root however neither worked, even after several tries. I also deleted the apps and tried several times after that. The key seems to be clearing the cache for each version of King Root attempted and then uninstalling them completely. After a restart of the phone, install 4.6 King Root's apk and then try it. I had the Wi-Fi turned on and USB plugged into my laptop.

SuperSume also worked fine from the attachment after the root was completed.

You should first change it with SuperSu after than you can delete it from Root Explorer

Flash official firmware without data cache wipes again(you dont lose any file or settings).And try with v4.5.It should work with it.I have tested with v4.5 before prepairing this thread.

Steps of Solution
1)Close Kingroot
2)Disable your Wifi 10 seconds and make it enable.
3)Open Kingroot again.
