I had the same problem, and managed to solve it:Hi i have same problemDid you fix it somehow?
i have the same android version, tried many times kingroot 4.5/4.6, flashef stock ftf, but no success. how do you do the rooting process?Did this. For some reason I decided to try first with Kingroot 4.5. Worked like a charm. Just had to manually remove the Kingroot icon and some residual files. IIRC I have tried this once before, ending up with a bootlooping Z. I think the newer (than 4.5) Kingroots have some nasty traps built in and that's the reason. No problems this time. Now just back up the TA, install recovery and some quality time with roms...
So, in a nutshell:
Device: C6603
Android version: 5.1.1 10.7.A.0.228
Kingroot 4.5 (see 1st post, downloaded apk using that link)
Super SuMe (apk from 1st post)
Proceeded as advised
Removed trash manually
All is well.
reflash the system.sin with flashtool, untick the data and cache. After reboot, black screen![]()

root with kingOroot, install recovery and flash supersu. easiest methodHi folks,
Just wanna kindly ask if the Author still follows the thread? See some number of issues popped up in latest posts, so I am wondering if this method is still safe/recommended considering time gone by. Cheers
So, download source is kingoapp.com, android version? Also, should I use supersu file provided here or to download (udated, I suppose) version from Playstore? Finally, I do not want to flash any custom ROM for now (running 5.1.1), so I don't need recovery then, right? Thank youroot with kingOroot, install recovery and flash supersu. easiest method
yes, kingoapp.com. you need recovery to flash supersu zip for replace kingoroot root binary, or use super-sume(which is don't work for me but others use it daily)So, download source is kingoapp.com, android version? Um... I forgot about Xperia Companion, thanks for reminding me thatJustin14p, i get the same trying to do this yesterday.
everything work fine and i get the root access. but once i restart the phone, the problem come.
apparently, all the apps, camera and even display doesn't work. i can only see the shut down and restart after pressing the power button. i have to repair it using Xperia Companion and the root access and the files are gone. now doing the second attempt.
Which recovery did you use and could you point me to the install thread....yes, kingoapp.com. you need recovery to flash supersu zip for replace kingoroot root binary, or use super-sume(which is don't work for me but others use it daily)
Flash your phone, install a new firmware then do that again w/o updating your binary files on SuperSU. Or just don't install SuperSU and use Kingrootafter rooting my phone stopped working.....after switching it on screen remains black only power off is shown
