Hey bro.For everyone who suffers from black screen and application FCs after reboot this is my method:
1. Download KingRoot 4.6 and Super-SUme from the first post
2. Download SuperSU from this post and put it on SDcard
3. Install KingRoot 4.6, after that open the app and tap "Try to Root" and let it settle
4. Install Super-SUme, after that open and give the app permission
5. Tap to the blue button and let it settle but DO NOT REBOOT after it's done
6. Download and install XZDualRecovery following this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2261606
7. Reboot to Recovery and flash SuperSU from SDcard
8. Then reboot, wait for the application optimization
9. Go to root/system/app/Kinguser and delete the FOLDER of Kinguser(include kinguser.apk)
10. Reboot and done
I've done it with 10.7.A.0.228, completely stock, locked bootloader, so I think it will work on .222 too, because the diference between these two versions is minor and both 5.1.1. I've tried the guide from first post and I suffered from FCs and black screen with only reboot or power off after application optimization. I've also got bootloop once, so I decided to do an "all in" and tried what I wrote and it worked. But as everyone and every guide tells you: I'll not be responsible for any damage, so do it on your own risk. DRM keys backup only need if you unlock your booloader. Rooting your phone with locked booloader won't affect your DRM keys and you won't loose anything. If you try this let me know how is it done :good:Hey bro.
I've got an Xperia Z that is completely untouched so far (in terms of software changes.)
OS: 5.1.1 Build Version: 10.7.A.0.222 (completely stock)
So, with locked bootloader, will your method work if I follow it step-by-step as you mentioned?
Some users with latest official firmware were having bootloop issues following some rooting methods.
Just want to be perfectly sure before starting the procedure. Thanks.
Also, I need root to backup my DRM Keys. So installing a custom recovery and following your procedure would disturb my DRM keys?
