I've had similar issue trying to EDL back to stock. Just EDL Okis LOS 15.1 EDL package, and you should be able to use his TWRP to get back to a normal state.
You might have to fool around with formatting Data, as your phone will probably think it needs encryption, but I got through it after a few tries.

EDIT: I have flashed it, no luck. I cannot even boot . If I press VolUp+Pwr the LED blinks but that's all. Could it be a hardware problem? BTW, I have "Flash all except storage" checked in MiFlash. Is that right?

That's right. No I don't think hardware issue, just issue from trying to EDL stock without correcting partitions first.

OK, I have managed to boot recovery, finally. Flashing the ROM now, hope to be back soon.

Hello folks, last night I was trying to go back to stock using MiFlash, the flash worked ok (though it didn't automatically reboot) so I powered it on and off and it ended up in a endless bootcycle where I would get a black screen and then a half second flash of the Android Guy on the operating table with the words "no command” and some small text at the bottom of the screen I was unable to read.

I couldn't power it off , it just kept cycling through black screen, Android Guy on operating table for split second, then blank screen.

I left it to run over night to see what would happen, this morning the battery was completely dead, I plugged it in, let it charge for a while and turned it on, this time I just got this screen, the "warning your devices bootloader is unlocked screen"

The 5 seconds is a ruse, it's been on that screen for hours, the phone isn't warming up at all so it's not working in the background, I can't force power down with any combination of buttons.

Kay, so I've let the battery run down (by sitting on that screen for most of the day), I plugged it into the charger and it immediately turned itself back on, got the same screen and it was unresponsive again. I let it run down again, and then tried to enter EDL mode, it seemed to work, plugged it into the computer and now I can see it in MiFlash again.

Flashed STOCK_OREO_B03_FULL_EDL and it completed, now it turns on, I get the same menu I posted above, except I can actually choose from the menu now.

If I just wait, it will go into that bootloop with Android Guy on the operating table except I can get out of it by holding the power button down now.

In the menu, the only option that doesn't immediately return me to the same menu is shutdown though.

I can still enter EDL mode through.

Came to this thread with the hope to unbrick my A2017G. The case is the phone is only able to be connected to PC in EDL (phone screen is off but led tells me when is on it), then i try to flash via Miflash...
Everything ok, when the process go something like 20% automatically jump to finish, saying flash is done, but no, nothing happened in phone, cant boot on system, cant boot on recovery, cant boot fastboot, only EDL, and looks like doesnt flash.
Phone is bricked due to my friend flashed EDL from stock oreo to RR. Can u help me please.
Edit : bootloader is locked.

Leave the phone until the battery drains completely. After that, power it on and go to EDL Mode. Use the Axon 7 EDL Tool and flash stock Nougat 7.1. Boot to the system, and then you can follow any guide on the forums to unlock your bootloader.

Thanks. Problem is that tool give me problems, saying something like cant find some files, is not about the in-folder files, is about program. Btw, phone now is in a shop, i hope they fix it, because i dont have enough time right now.
Im gonna try aswell if they cannot fix.

ZTE Axon 7S freezing alot

hey there Does anyone know where I can find the original stock rom for a zte axon 7s? I was able to update to oreo 8 and I didnt like it primarily because chrome freezes alot. can anyone tell me is there a rom version for this phone where google chrome doesnt freeze? I have tried the b13 and b14 updates and had trouble installing playstore on those. The phone came to me with B11 which was nougat version and every thing was on it but it freezed alot and ran hot with certain apps. Does chrome also have problems on the original 6.01 android version?

You can try completely deleting the files for the tool, and redownloading them. Make sure to disable your antivirus before downloading, as it might automatically delete the files for the tool.
Copy over the Axon 7 EDL Tool folder to the base of your C drive, so it should be like this
C:/ Axon 7 EDL Tool
You should be good after this.

Must just be a problem with the install of the tool.
Yes, it can be fixed since the Axon 7 is unbrickable no matter what.

I does both things, tried with battery drains, and kept the folders without spaces and, it flashed perfectly.
At the end, the program said all done correctly, but the phone still doesnt start, its showing by milisecs a ZTE Axon 7 blue image and turn off again ... Any suggestions? Im flashing wrong ROM maybe? Is Nougat Stock for A2017G.

well, the phone works.

but in terminal the commands aren't working.
im using stock rom and recovey .no root. do i need root ?
the phone bootloader is unlocked.

use the dfu tool (MultiDL, Raystef made a couple of threads about it), or try using EDL Tool, and if nothing works try opening the phone and unplugging the battery then plugging again and entering EDL, if THAT fails use my dfu unbrick guide (google "dfu unbrick", it should be the first result)

Following this guide has bricked my phone

I was on B04 Oreo stock

I used B10 to try to downgrade

MiFlash started flashing then said xbl.elf not found - despite it actually being there

Phone unresponsive, no lights, nothing happens when plugged in charging. Battery pull and reconnect won’t let me turn it back on.

Battery pull + charge cable gives blinking red light. But if I disconnect the cable then connect battery and put charge cable in then no lights, nothing.

if I disconnect battery, connect cable to get the red blinking light then connect battery and pull the cable out then the red blinking light remains

I'm stuck in step 15. The MiFlash Tool give me an error after i select the folder: "Coudn't find script".

What could be the problem?
