Bootloop

I'm on android 9 on my HTC u12+. I have tried a few different ways and versions of this and every time I end up stuck at the beginning logo of booting. I install the riru core module fine and have the Edexposed manager. But when I install the actually framework it gets stuck on boot. Any ideas? Thanks.

Hello, I've been having problems with SafetyNet. Are there any recommendations with what I should whitelist/blacklist? I've had to turn it off to have GPay to work correctly.

If it helps, I'm using a Pixel 2 XL on Android 10 (August Patch)

You can try the Canary build of EdXposed but it may cause problems/bootloops, depending on you Android version and firmware, better check other threads here...

When you turned EdXposed off and on again, where all previously installed modules /settings still working?

Is there a way to backup and restore EdXposed (and Magisk) modules / app settings without TWRP? Would Titanium Backup do it?
Thanks for any hints!

you can always use the file manager in twrp and go to /data/adb/modules and delete riru_edxposed to remove edxposed if you ever get a bootloop from a module
What if I dont have TWRP installed? How can I delete this file - I am on stock recovery.
Can I ADB sideload a zip-file with a script that deletes this? How can I create this?

If you can get to fastboot, you can boot twrp (without installing it) by using the command "fastboot boot <twrp.img>" with <twrp.img> being the location of the image on your computer.

This is what I do with my Pixel so I can still update it normally.

Just a quick note: The latest version of Magisk 21.1 (21100) along with the latest stable EdXposed (0.4.6.4 [4563, yahfa]) passes SafetyNet again!!

Just make sure to use Magisk Hide and check the option 'Pass SafetyNet' in EdXposed Manager. Keep in mind that this is just a temporary victory since SafetyNet is evolving and might no longer be tricked in the (near) future.
Until then, enjoy this little success! ?

I figured but it doesn't bypass safetynet :(, i guess will have to wait on a fix for v22
Enable the Pass SafetyNet Option in EdXposed Manager. Make sure no module is able to hook Google Play, GSM and GSF. Same for Magisk Hide, hide it from the three packages. And reboot.

If it's still not passing, it might be due to your magisk and/or xposed modules which alter the system in an obvious way. Google is also known for detecting root and stuff if you have specific rootapps installed.

I hope you can sort it out bro :) otherwise we have to wait for another update.
Keep in mind that we'll soon not be able to pass SafetyNet anymore under no circumstances due to its heavy evolving.

Oprava byla vydána. Podívejte se na verzi 22.4!

Odesláno z mého OnePlus 6 pomocí XDA Labs

Upravit: nebude fungovat s nejnovějším stabilním EdXposed. Bummer.

Hi and what version of EDXposed to use?

The latest one, 0.5.1.3 (4646) YAHFA.
Take a Look in the Screenshots. Fully passing Safetynet! 😊

Hi,
I've a problem with installed EdXposed Framework. It says it's installed, but not active.

Riru 23.1
Riru EdXposed 0.5.1.3 4646 YAHFA / SANDHOOK
Magisk 21.0
S10+ Snapdragon SM-G9750

Why could this happen?
Maybe because you're not using the most recent version of Magisk - try to update it. If that's also not helping it might be due to the heavily altered Android Version by Samsung.

I just updated to latest Magisk 21.1 but EdXposed is still not active. It was working with an old version of Magisk, if I remember correctly.

Thank you anyways :)

Then my closest guess would be that it has something to do with Selinux..
But I fear I cant help you with that, maybe someone fixed it in your device section. Best of luck and merry christmas buddy!
