due to bad flashing, device is stuck on samsung logo.can not boot.

QPST don't work on Note 4 and S5 G900F with Stock Firmware 5.0.
Is not possible to connect the Phones with QPST!

samsung s5 lollipop to kitkat error need help!!

Need help tried and trying to down grade from lollipop to kitkat as it has to much errors with the official update 5.0
only getting error - if some one can help me in the right direction it would really be kind - read the hole thread!!

found a new firmware that worked - tho after one press volum down + home + power to come to the meny to load a new firm ware... thats okey... but NO ONE i have seen - have showed how to get to the meny to wipe user and inact factory setting from that meny... had to hard press volum up + home + power while one was with in the othere meny

Oh, I didn't know that.
So, in case of restoring only EFS, wouldn't it be enough to repair a null imei?
Must I restore both modemst1 & st2 (besides EFS) to have the imei fully repaired?

i dont have efs backup, what should i do, any help.
can some one give me efs backup so i will change data according to my phone.
my imei show as null and baseband show as unknown.

pit files are unusable on S5

Hello,

I tried to reuse the pit file I extracted from my phone but there is a FAIL error in Oding and 'security check fail : pit' it teh phone download mode.
I went over dozens of posts and the only one I found claim success by removing padding and nulls, though it seems like it is working and the process begin, it does not really do anything and teh original mesag eis theer for a seconns and partition table remains the same - phones boot normally with no change.
I tried open the file in Magic Pit and save it but its the same.
My problem is that my country hidden partition is much bigger than the one in teh BTU image currenl installed (G900F)
Looks like the file format is incorrect or signed by samsung somehow.
Any success with that?

I don't suppose anybody would care aboutor happen to have efs or pit files for us cell would you .... Mines empty but I can still run custom ROM and I just can't upgrade to lollipop
