As Dr. Ketan said. No more applicable. Even if resources are added or found a way smiliar to this. You loose deep sleep.
I have done that on 4.3 and it is not advisable.

Dr Ketan might have a way through advanced utilities mod through cpu gov control ...

Nevertheless I don't yet see the lag you are guys talking about.

Fact is most roms are with s5 and n3 features and yet complains about 1 second wakeup that I don't see. It could be different from device to another. Maybe.

I found a way where you can eliminate screen wake lag and have an alternative to go into deep sleep as well to save battery.

First you must have xposed installer, with the double tap2 sleep module.

Then you must have custom kernel (Nadia), în trickstermod where you apply settings for your kernel there is a feature called Touch Wake, activate it and set the delay to 0.

Now I don't know if it will work the same for everyone, but for me it works this way:

If I lock the phone by double tap status bar, I will have no screen wake lag, but by this I suspect the phone won't go into sleep mode, that means some battery drain (10% in 10 hours, I haven't tested it but I will update on that).

Now if I lock the screen by power button the phone will go into deep sleep within few seconds and you won't have that slight battery drain but you will have a 1 - 1,5 seconds wake lag.

The beauty of it is that you can use it throughout the day and at night lock by power button to not lose battery, it might be awkward for some but it's better than nothing..

Found out about this earlier and I will test this for a couple of days and see how it will work out with the battery and update here.

There is also a free app from the play store called "wake lock" that does the trick. Battery drain minimal. Worked well for me.

I have a note 4 American version and I observe the same screen wakeup lag. I'd say 1s compared to my friends note 4. Both exactly the same on stock factory reset. Tried all possible combination, Rooted non-rooted, swap batteries, swap simcards. I feel like it's pure hardware.... Does anyone have any suggestions to resolve this issue? Thank you
