i go to settings under icons and turn mine off i still think they spy on our hotspot with the carrier logo since 4.4 kit kat

or you could use activity launcher go to phone services click network i have line beside it thats one way to turn it on you can enable bands by the tmo.config at the bottom this keeps you from decompiling the framework.apk

I see no difference

I guessing all carrier info is not included in the Beta trial. I was able to enable in the log kit which works for Vodafone UK.
