Tried this on Lg K20 plus

my LG k20 plus was sent down from the U.S to Nigeria, it is the metro pcs version it is was unlocked, but i discovered dat it didnt work with any of the 4g or 3g bands in my coutry, it only gets 2g which is really slow...
so i Tried this on my Lg K20 plus, with Android nougat 7.0, rooted, unlocked bootloader.
i was able to succeed in unlocking some of the hidden 4G and WCDMA bands but the problem now is i cannot get any network unless i put it on GSM only setting...
Can someone help with a better method for unlocking bands??

on my h815, rooted, bootloader unlocked once i connected my lg G4 and installed minimal adb and fastboot, opened the cmd when i try to execute step 4 of the installation (Step 4: Make sure you have adb, and connect your G4 to your PC. In an adb shell, execute the following:
su
echo 1 > /sys/devices/platform/lg_diag_cmd/diag_enable)the pc says me that su isn't a command or an exe......if i try to type echo 1> etc etc the pc says that it's impossible to find the directory....so i can't continue to unlock all LTE frequencies .....i'm so frustrating !!!!!

I found this to be a real pain. Try what I did and use https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.vndnguyen.shortcutmaster.lite

In the app select secret code Explorer from the 3 dot menu then find a listing that says hidden menu.

The band settings are in Field Test >> Modem settings

It takes some patience but you can set different bands to use.

Warning' you could screw up your device even worse

Cheers!

I also doing my h815 without luck. However, you seem doing under your PC environment. FIrst you need to log into your phone by:
adb shell
then your phone respond (most llkely with the prompt $).
Then,
su
Command prompt now change to #:
Next,
echo 1 > /sys/devices/platform/lg_diag_cmd/diag_enable
Up to this point, I could do. However, I totally stopped at this point.
