Follow the steps in the guide, but choose the ROW_v1 profile - no need for doing a factory reset. In fact, a factory reset won't reset the active profile.@HomerSp, I am on EE in UK and as another user has reported;
VivoVoWiFi_v5 - VoLTE
NLVFVoWiFi_v1 - VoLTE & VoWiFi
But, caller ID is lost - all calls are shown as unknown callers. How do we get back to default? ie before I started all this, I really need caller ID over VoLTE...
Is a factory reset my only option?
Cheers
Caller id works without having to reset anything for example what i did is go into:Follow the steps in the guide, but choose the ROW_v1 profile - no need for doing a factory reset. In fact, a factory reset won't reset the active profile.
Try changing the APN to use both IPv4/v6.Well for some reason when I was switching the SIM between two different phones for testing I seemed to have broken the ability for my SIM to get an IPv6 address on any phone. I got a hold of AT&T and they claimed to have made some changes that should hopefully restore that. And they did say that they provisioned my Tencent edition ROG phone 2 to their network.. Currently my only issue is that I'm not getting an IPv6 address so hopefully my carrier can resolve this. I just wish I had another SIM to test this with.
Do you have an IPv6 address?Im trying to enable Volte but I cant enable it with the VivoVoWiFi_v5 profile. the UT interface is enable but not Volte. I have AT&T.
I dont see the IPv6 address in the phone information. I did the ping Test and it says Ping hostname (www.google.com) IPv6 fail(2)Tried that. Unfortunately didn't work. They mentioned something was glitched with provisioning. So I'll give them 24 hours as they stated. I wish I had a other SIM card. I might even go in to ATT and see if they have another SIM for me to try.

Yeah you're in the same boat I am. IPv6 is what VOLTE uses. I had an IPv6 address before. Even way before I started doing rooting and all this. Now I lost it for some reason. I dont have a phone that has Volte. I will call At&t tomarrow to see if I can get an IPv6 address. Thanks for the advice.Yeah you're in the same boat I am. IPv6 is what VOLTE uses. Also. Do you know if your SIM was working with VOLTE on a previous phone? If you have a phone that works with VOLTE see if you get IPv6 address on that phone
Let me know if you have any luck. I'm not sure why mine was already working. I came from a Galaxy S8, then a ROG phone, then ROG Phone 2. So I'm not sure why I had my SIM working with IPV6 already set up. But I can assure you it was working.I dont have a phone that has Volte.
