I don't like to go offtopic , but try with fastboot oem lock (make sure everything on phone is stock).

that works with a moto xt1058 on android 6.0.1? i want to get back to android 4. i dislike android 6 on moto x, is so damn slow.

Hi.

I used this method to downgrade to 4.4.4 a few years ago and then recently upgraded to stock 5.1 via OTA. I've just now read that this is a no no. Do you think my bootloader could be corrupted?
