i was on cm 10.2
then i did all wipes and then erased boot and flashed boot with fastboot then erased system and data and cache whit it and finally flashed cm 12.1.
So now, you phone is booting or still FC?
If still FC, make a clean install:
delete and create new partitions on SD card/
then install clean 4.0.4-587, and then follow throw an install guide in CM post.
This should work fine (i always do a clean install before flashing a new ROM).

Hi Guys! Today I will teach you how to make a partition in your MicroSD Card.
Is very useful have a dedicated partition to have your Apps, and other for you data. The swap partition is very useful to spped-up your system, but NEVER can cosiderated how additional Ram memory. All depends of you SD speed.
If you know something of Android, the process is very simple, however, I made this guide as easy as I could, with screenshots and stuffs.

Requirements:

Step 1: Partition your MicroSD Card

thanks for your training
your training was Partition your Android MicroSD 16gig : 10 gig fat23 and 4gig ex4!
but i will partition my sd card (32gig) This way:
4gig ex4 and the rest fat 32! I do not know about the remaining space!
please guide me!
thanks

What do you mean?
Take exact size of the drive and Subtract it from (-) 4096=4GB: 1024*4. and than rest of the space make a ext4 partition (you'll get exactly 4Gb).
Mean the remaining space was:
To continue, click again in the Unallocated space, click again in yes and set it again a new partition how this image:
file system: linux swap and partition size: 850.45!!!
in partition 32 gig:
file system: linux swap and partition size???
thanks

You have to decide, there is no standard value, you can leave also 850 mb.
Do use use some swap app, like Roehsoft SWAPit RAM EXPANDER?
If yes, look for recommendations in app help file, if not i don't think you need more than 850 Mb of linux swap.

Hy i have original sonyericsson microsd class 2. It is 8gb. Is class 2 goog enoug. I will use it for ext4 on xperia ARC
Not much, you'll have lags in use (in case of ext4 (\data) expander or for internal memory for CM12.1 ), but you can always try it for yourself.
For me, even class 10, have some lags and sometimes buggy

Split a TexFAT partition without loss of data?

Hello friends,
Can anyone please kindly advise?

I have a 64GB SD Card with one TexFAT partition with 128KB blocksize.
I'd like to split this partition into two 48GB+16GB without loss of the data
already on it.

Any tool you know that provides a way to split a TexFAT partition without loss of data?

Thank you again!

You can use 64GB card on your Xperia C without dual partitioning.
If you can, always buy the fastest card since it helps. Especially if you are using SD card to store camera Pics and videos.

I need some serious help.
App2sd pro.
Link apps to sd card
Partition tool.

I use partition tool.. Fat32 ext4.
I have a 64gb Samsung card.
Note 4 running on abstract rom v5.0
I set the partition tool.
I use link apps to sd card.
It moves the files to sd card.
I return to phone and my sd card is missing my files.
I get a error I have to partition the drive.. I have done this several times.. I get back to link2sd and my files are missing.

I put my card in windows and I get low memory number on card.
I format it goes back to 59.6
I am trying to move my apps and data off my internal memory into my 64 gb card.. Plus I want to put some movies and music on my card from my computer..
In the process I get stuck going back to partition drive.

I am now trying to format card on windows long format.. Will attempt to partition sd card with mini tool partition wizard 9.1 free on windows 10 Samsung computer.

Is there a easier way to do this.. I have been rattling my brain to make this work.
There has to be a answer??
