Is there a way to update the script for use with 4.2? I'm getting an error when trying to run the script that I think relates to the multiple user feature.

Thank you very much Metallice for this fix/patch...

Whilst I haven't noticed the 'washed out' quality as reported by others, I have noticed ongoing brightness/dimming fluctuations in certain videos on my Nexus 7. It's particularly noticeable in vids where there are no fast cuts, and the general background color is 'light', ie. scenes shot in bright sunlight.

At first I though this was a problem with the auto-brightness feature (and this has been reported on other forums), but disabling it didn't remedy the problem.

Your solution, however has... video playback is now rock-solid stable.

Using the script (SmartDimmer-OFF) you posted, with ScriptManager (set as Root and Boot)... the random screen fluctuations are now history.

Rgrds,
Ged.

Alléluia !

I noticed since first time i played a vidéo this horrible change in colors and wondered if there was a way to change this behavior.

I don't understand why this is not an option.

Hi, i have seen a lot of complains about the washed screen after videos, but in my opinion its not important.

On my N7 the washed sensation only appears sometimes, and disappears after a few seconds if I stay without moving the screen, I use MX and I use to increase the brightness but when I return to launcher with auto brightness when it auto adjust the washed disappear, also if I open an app or I move the launcher screen the colors return to be normal inmediatly, the same if I turn off and on the screen, so I don't know what's the problem...

Also so many people complain about color saturation, I think it is OK, its not amoled so the colors look normal, exactly as a lot of IPS screens except apple IPS screens that looks so warm... Maybe there is a lot of people that thinks iPad/GalaxySIII look better, they should have configured the TV with the color at maximum...

Yesterday I was watching avatar on the tab at 720p without an issue . Then switched to wolverine at 720p which started stutter. Changed to another video which is under 720p it also stutters and is quite irritating. Audio and video goes off sync. Sometimes no audio at all. What can be the issue. I am on stock rom. 4.4.2. Stock kernel
Playing Riptide GP2 absolutely fine. The problem is only with videos. Every thing is fine. I don't understand why avatar played fantastically smooth even after being the most demanding visually and rest just stutter. Unwatchable.

Change Screen Colour

Hey guys,

Is there any way i can manually change the screen color? Mine is a little yellowish and i would love to increase the blue tone manually through logs(idk)? Tried some app to increase the blue but it lags terribly :(

will appreciate if anyone can help!

Cheers, mates!
