Hi Guys, I need Small expertise guidance before Firmware upgrade.
I have Huawei Y9 Prime current version info as below. ( I have EMUI 10 and Plan to upgrade EMUI 12)
Base Package: STK-LGRP6-OVS 10.0.0.427
Cust Package: STK-L22 10.0.0.7 (C636)
Preload PKG: STK-L22-PRELOAD 10.0.0.7 (C636R2)
Region (HW-SPCSEAS)

Huawei didn't release EMUI 12 update to my country but they have released to other Asia Pacific (Except us somehow)
IN HiSuite Proxy I Could find out this ROM, all matching except base package.

Base Package: STK-LGRP10-OVS 102.0.0.225
Cust Package: STK-L22-CUST 102.0.0.2 (C636)
Preload PKG : STK-L22-PRELOAD 102.0.0.1 (C636R2)
Region (HW-SPCSEAS)

Will this firmware work on my mobile? Due to unmatching of Base package will it be problem (Soft Brick?)

Hi Guys.
I updated my Huawei P30 Pro to EMUI 12, after which when i call or somebody call me, the caller probably 4 to 5 second can not hear my voice and after 4 to 5 seconds he can hear my voice...... Does any body has the problem and if yes how to resolve........ experienced persons are welcomed to reply, please. also, I resetted my network but did not resolve the problems.

I read similar reports in the P30 Pro topic of a Hungarian forum and a couple of forum members complained about the same issue. The issue might not be related to the EMUI version, since some forum members had reported such issues prior to the release of EMUI 12.

So, you should contact your carrier's customer service and tell them about the problem.​

Thanks for ur valuable reply.... I will then contact to carrier operator if he can resolve the problem....... Anyhow thanks again.... Moreover i m in pakistan and not using voda fone..... Also i will check another carrier sim card.... May be the issue with this sim..... It is further mentioned that on earphone connected vis BT the problem does not arise and we can hear voices from both side

I know it doesn't perfectly match the thread but maybe the discussed guide might help in my case as well.

Since 1 week i'm not able anymore to access my Huawei P30 Pro. I've installed the (automatically overnight update to 12.0.0.139). Since then i get asked a 4 digit pin (the correct pin doesn't work).

furthermore i'm not able to go into recovery mode, so i can't wipe data. but i don't care if i loose all the data, i just want to get access again to my phone.

Any idea how i could solve the issue? does this guide maybe help in my case, any idea about such cases?

Hello,

does anyone here know how I can get back to EMUI 9 on the P30 Pro?

It worked fine from EMUI 12 to EMUI 10.
I have already tried some of the EMUI 10 and EMUI 9 versions. With EMUI 10, I no longer have a USB connection to the PC. So I tried the other tests of EMUI 9 versions via USB OTG or Micro SD. However, the installations of the EMUI 9 versions I had tried fail.
My device is a P30 Pro (C431)
Currently I am on the 10.0.0.173

If anyone has experience with this, I would greatly appreciate any options.

I'm writing this hoping that someone here will be able to help me with what seems to be an impossible situation I've managed to get my phone into.

I'd consider my experience to be moderate as far as repairing phones goes..I'm no where close to being an expert so please go easy on me.

Before I describe the phone and it's issues, I'd just like to mention that I have access to ChimeraTool Pro, I DO have a working HarmonyOS test point cable and I AM able to boot from USB COM 1.0 serial port to bootrom/factory mode. (Made the cable myself😎)

The phone is branded as a P30 Pro V0G-L04 on the back cover so I'm assuming that's correct. It IS the original back cover I'm positive.

Here is what ChimeraTool is able to tell me...

I'm pretty sure I've done a really good job messing this phone up by modifying the OEMinfo, reading/writing cert files and attempting to flash an absurd amount of firmware onto it in a desperate attempt to get it going.
Currently, when I attempt to update it via OTG/Flash Drive, it sticks at 5% then just reboots a minute later. Also, regular fastboot mode is non functional. My computer will not recognize the device whatsoever without using test points.

Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. I've all but thrown in the towel at this point...is there any hope for this poor phone?

Hi,

I am not an expert either. However, I do not understand this: the device model is VOG-L29 but the firmware is L04. The L29 model is the dual-SIM variant and the L04 is the single-SIM one.

Is it possible that you have the wrong firmware installed? What would happen if you installed the L29 firmware version? The latest version for the L29 variant is 12.0.0.144, which contains the November 2022 securtiy patches.​

I'm pretty certain it's actually a V0G-L04 model and I switched the info around in ChimeraTool in an attempt to get it going with incorrect firmware. Do you happen to have a link to the firmware you mentioned? At this point I'm willing to try anything.
Unfortunately, I cannot provide a link to this specific firmware version. I do not know much about flashing firmware and I do not flash firmware either. My phone has the European region firmware (C431) installed. Maybe you should look around in this section.

I hope you will be able to make your P30 Pro work fine.​

I may have made a mistake by purchasing a what looked like a pristine P30pro new edition. during set up I discovered that it didn't update beyond 10.1.0.101 (EMUI 10.1.0). while I'd be fine with that EMUI version I'm concerned about the patch level dating from 1st April 2020, along with Kernel dating back to 2020 as well.

investigating a bit deeper I found it to be a C891 version - which apparently was not meant for retail 🤔

question: has anyone ever successfully flashed such a device with a C432 or other commercial version so that it at least OTA patches to the last available level?

If OTA is not available in your phone, you may connect the phone with PC and update the same via HiSuite. How to do this, you may search the forum

Hey guys, I recently downgraded my Huawei P30 pro (VOG-L29 C431) to Emui 9.1 using HiSuit Proxy and now I'm kinda stuck. I'm not getting any updates, usb debugging is disabled, in recovery mode there is no Update option and I also got no NM, what I do have is this usb to usbc adapter but i don't think that it's helping since usb debugging is off. Does anyone know how I can get back to Emui 11 or 12?

Hello senior my phone is Huawei mate 10 C636 running EMUI 9.1.0.321(C636E5R1P13) i update it to EMUI 12 102.0.0.231 (C636R1) From firmware finder v2
After the download it install and my device failed verification and may not work properly i asked for a help here a member help me with some ideas but still it does not count to me. I edited the hisuite update congif. added my mate 10 model after the recovery download and installation my device showed me same thing i am now stuck and my bootloader is LOCKED frp LOCKED i tried usb update using dload its not working it says Software install failed. i tried using hisuite proxy v.2.4 and hisuite 11 to rollback to EMUI 9.1 using recovery OS after the Download and decompressing when installing recovery Hisuite says NO RECOVERY PACKAGE FOUND FOR YOUR DEVICE please i read alot of things and see u are the Professor help

Hello my friend i have huawei p30 pro global version.is harmonyos os 3 based on Android 12 or even 11, because my problem is being stuck with android 10. And i don't know if emui 13 will eventually comes out to my device.
