For Oneplus 3 Only.(not 3t)
Requirements:
1. Unlocked Bootloader with Custom recovery twrp 3.3.0.1 installed.

If you are running OOS 5.0.8, OR any other Custom Rom with TWRP 3.3.0.1 Installed you can install Community Beta Pie Rom without losing Data by this method.
Steps:
1.In Twrp Advance Wipe , Wipe Dalvik/ART Cache, Cache , Data , System.
2.Then Flash Community Beta Pie Rom https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-3/how-to/official-android-9-community-beta-t3922319 , Thanks @abhibnl for Sharing the Rom.
3.After Flashing DON'T REBOOT, Flash This

4.Flash Magisk 19 If you want root.
I Recommend custom kernel for OOS PIE made by @mcdachpappe link to thread: https://forum.xda-developers.com/on...-development/kernel-renderzenith-mcd-t3838788
Then you can Reboot and Enjoy your Pie Rom. It will Boot up Much Faster.
Proof:
1. From custom rom pie to OOS PIE

2. From OOS PIE to Custom Rom Pie

3. From OOS Oreo 5.0.8 to OOS Pie

What does the zip file do ?
And does the internal storage stay if i didn't flash magisk?
This zip contains bootloader of 5.0.8 but modem of pie rom . And internal stays like usual if you don't flash magisk. But it's always good to flash magisk if you want to use apps that require root.

Your proof video really needs to be made properly. First, you are flashing it on top of a pie rom. Second, you are flashing a custom Pie OOS beta ROM.
What you can do is, you can roll back to OOS 5.0.8 stock, show that your phone is encrypted, then go on to flash original Pie community beta zip, then your firmware and then boot it up.

I tried this method and I have been stuck on boot for over three hours. I am going to roll back to official OOS 5.0.8 then perform the upgrade.
