[Guide] Flash Global ROM to Chinese ROM

1. Download Chinese ROM, then copy the downloaded .zip to your phone’s root storage folder

2. Go to 'Settings' - 'System update', click the 'Settings' icon (the three dots) on the top right corner, choose 'Local update', find the .zip file and click on 'Install now' button to confirm.

3. Go to 'Settings' - 'Other system settings' - 'Reset options' , do a factory reset

1. Q: Does it work with unlocked boot loader?
A: Yes.
2. Q: Can I flash back to global ROM?

Hello, there is one issue I am facing after flashing Chinese rom over global that now on startup it's asking me the password of 4 digits but on global, I had set up 6 digits password now it ain't going nowhere :laugh:

how do you install google play and gapps?
I have heared that flashing gapps alone isnt enough and there are problems such as not being able to download big apps.
even after root, what do you need to do to enable gapps?

The root storage folder is your internal storage, it is the drive that you see when you connect the phone to your PC.

i got this this error when my phone is starting and even when i enter recovery
i only have fastboot acess i tried flashing every rom (china and global) but no luck

You have to unlock the bootloader, say yes on the phone when prompted, it will wipe everything and give you an unlocked installation. All the work is from ADB / Fastboot, see the XDA guide.

I flashed from Global Rom to CN Rom (V5.17) via Local Update. I tried flashing Gapps but this failed as well. Now, I am trying to flash back to Global Rom but unable to do so. If anyone is still watching this thread can please help me.
