Do you know if this new version of ODIN will read the OLD Firmware files as well as the new ones with the new compression? I know the OP says it will read the new files - but I didn't know if we needed to have two different versions of ODIN if we had phones running older firmware and other phones on new Oreo firmware. ??

Yes, you can use this Odin to flash older firmwares, too. This update just adds support for flashing compressed binaries.

I'm on Nougat AQL5 with my Exynos SM-G955FD. Will this tutorial work? Will it wipe my data and apps?

Hello,
After doing the update for Android Oreo 8, through Odin, my Google Pay (Old Android Pay) no longer works. Is this expected? What can be done? Thank you!

will it work with sm g950F

I flashed Oreo CRB7 final build from Germany and everything is great. But notifications for viber doesnt work as supposed. When i snooze them for only 15 minutes they never appear again and even after 2 hours when i open viber app i have new messages for which i didnt get notification neither sound and stays like that. But when i restart phone everything becomes normal untill i snooze some notification again. I did clean install, clear cash twice and factory reset the phone before Oreo.
Followed the instructions from this site step by step (it was flashing with extracting .lz4 extensions). Help?

That sound like a viber issue not oreo or Odin.
Send a ticket to viber.

Maybe ill try to clean flash it with new odin i have all backups on cloud. Also i get few wifi disconnections from time to time, on my other devices is working great.
For the snooze option-should i have UNDO button in the notification bar when i snooze some apps? Because i have none and i saw it is part of oreo snooze options.

@kernel.killer; hey man, I'm on 8.0 CRAP with custom kernel and other staff I don´t want to lose. If I flashed CRB7 with CSC_Home, will I keep TWRP, root and my custom kernel with my data? or just will I keep my data? Thanks.

    Only keep your data.
