Thanks for the post. I have followed it and removed the ads successfully.
I am not sure if I did correct. I found the drivers and Motorola device manager from Moto E4 India website.
Thanks

Have you rebooted the phone yet? Still no ads?
I have rebooted several times. So far, no ads

Your welcome, but the Original Poster in the other thread deserves the credit. I just took a chance that it was the same.

heck yeah it worked for me now I don't have to unlock it twice...lol now when I hit the finger scanner it just unlocks. It may just be me but it feels like it does so more quickly at that. if you read threw that thread people tell you how to remove other amazon apps too but seeing as how they sold us the phone for cheaper with the expectation of us using amazon stuff I will leave those one there besides the amazon app on these phones is better than the one on the play store and it has the free underground apps on it like on fire tablets. I just hated having to tap the finger scanner twice.

Hello brother!

Just got my E4 from Amazon with lockscreen and notification ads. Went looking to see what I could do about them and found the G4 guide works.

https://forum.xda-developers.com/moto-g4/how-to/to-remove-amazon-ads-moto-g4-running-t3614090

Just use the 2nd adb command, no root needed.

So far, no more ads.
Greetings friend! I did the process with the phone terminal, the one that goes down from the Play Store. I put the command but it did not give me results. What am I doing wrong on my Moto E4? Thank you!

Has anyone with the prepaid VZW version used this method to remove the bloat that comes with it?
It is possible, you have to use "pm list packages" command to get a list of the apps that can be uninstalled. Search for verizon, vz, vzw... I used these commands for my droid turbo 2, but might be different for moto e4

pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.cequint.ecid
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.vcast.mediamanager
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.vzw.hss.myverizon
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.gotv.nflgamecenter.us.lite
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.slacker.radio
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.asurion.android.verizon.vms
pm uninstall -k --user 0 com.vznavigator.Generic
