First, try enabling debugging mode in
settings -> Developer options -> USB debugging

If that doesn't work, try
settings -> Xperia -> USB Connectivity -> Change MTP mode

a caution

If you have a rooted phone there currently isnt a way to root on .200 JB. Noob question alert! on flashing I've noted that a lot of the data from old apps (installs wiped after upgrade) is still present anyway to wipe this?

Antutu score dropped from 8250 to 7646 as well. Guesing its the lack of root goodness ;)

Cheers :)

a) Do a factory reset after flashing and it should improve

b) Give it some time while google backup re-installs and re-configures your phone from the backedup data. In the meantime your phone is going to be sluggish as hell

Windows 7 64 bits.
Tried with debug on and off and got the same results. There is no option to change mtp mode (at the connectivity there is only a checkbox to use pc companion.),
first of all turn the debugging option on den keep in mind that the port u r using must be usb 2.0 (not usb 3.0).... provided that u hav installed the drivers properly... if not try this - http ://www .mediafire .com /download /t8fl1hkoe0hn1f0 /Xperia_USB-ADB_Drivers.zip (remove the spaces).

Tried a couple of other ones too.. no use. Downloading an older version 0.9 of flashtool and trying
Use the latest one 0.9.10.1
As the previous version 0.9.10 will soft brick LT26 devices,
Bcoz today I have soft bricked my xperia acro s while flashing with older version
Do flash with latest

@vikrammohan
Dude, the same thing happened to me. I posted in a different thread. Then I went forward with it. First time, flashing failed. Next I tried the 32 bit version (though I am using 64bit Win 7), and voila .. all went fine .. no problem at all. If you are following the guide in this thread, nothing will go wrong, trust me.

How did you go forward with it? I mean without an OK button?

I installed 0.9 and that has the OK button. Reinstalled 0.9.10 and the OK button is gone again.

By reading his post, I assume this is what he did:
Instead of using the 64 bit version of flashtool he used the 32 bit version (click and run "Flashtool" instead of "Flashtool64" in your c:/Flashtool folder)
