Requirements:
PATCHED ODIN BY 3B

A carrier or non-carrier locked A205U

Steps:

1. Download A205U1 Firmware from Samfw (Also, make sure it is your phone's binary).

2. In Patched Odin, flash the BL, AP, CP, and CSC (NOT HOME CSC).

3. Set up your phone.

4. Congrats, you have successfully crossflashed to the A205U1!

Bugs:
With the Wi-Fi setup, it keeps resetting the setup to the start of the setup. (Workaround: Use minimal setup (Non-Wi-Fi)

Crossflash to the A125W firmware instead, and use XAC firmware again. Then you can unlock bootloader, and follow instructions to root in this forum.
I appreciate your speedy response do you mean cross flash to A125W > XAC > unlock bootloader, could you link the XAC? I'm not too familiar with that firmware, but I'm confident that I can learn, thanks again!

Here is the firmware for https://samfw.com/firmware/SM-A205W/XAC (the a205w, crossflash to this one instead since it will be way better and you will be able to use most custom roms and kernels!)
Oh ok, Ill try that but ive been busy tryin stuff on my own, this is my new ID, Id assume it would still work right?

A205U1UESDCWC1

this is a us based U1, I couldn't figure out the binary so I choose the first one with TMK as the CSC

I'll see if this the link there has a "D" version and if it doesn't Ill try C

If this is wrong just lmk

Painnnnn, this is what I get for not being patient..... I am still gonna try the C binary fingers crossed
hope you get it working! I did this mistake too with my D binary, and it seems that the C binary was the last update for the A205W since it has been a long time since another has released... If you still want to (if it doesn't end up working) try patched odin, or you could buy a a205f or a205fn motherboard from somewhere and install it in the phone instead! Wish you the best of luck on your journey to get root and custom roms working on your device.

It's just a project phone, im uh... studying??? Pen testing??? Practicing thats the word, I am basically testing my research capabilities along with brushing up on methods to find/achieve/bypass and gain root access

Painnnnn, Yeah it failed, I am guessing there isn't a way to restore it back to a C binary?
If not that's fine, this'll just end up as a failed test, but since I am guessing you are the one who found this method or at least knows how it works, and you would've found a way to go back if there was one... 🥲
