No. You already have a cwm kernel.

JB ROM that is too slow!? Mind telling me which one you tried?Thank you. I picked a JB ROM flashed it but I didn't like it. It's too slow and now I have the same boot screen from that ROM regardless what I re-flash. Is there a way to fix it? What would be a good ROM to use from stock 2.1 to maybe GB?
Can you explain a little more?JB ROM that is too slow!? Mind telling me which one you tried?
Going back to stock 2.1 or 2.2 is a bad idea as you will have to flash bootloaders = chance to brick.
Once you're on GB bootloaders, you should flash Odin KK4 without bootloaders to get back to stock.
That's why I mentioned the bootloaders in my previous posts. If you flash back to 2.1, you flash the Eclair bootloaders = you will need to reflash the GB bootloaders. After re-flash one click KK4 no bootloader I got this screen every time boot the phone. Can you help? ( I flashed again with same result)
I found a tar file (I897UCKF1-AutoRoot) and stock kernel (KK4), flashed with Odin...rooted.You already have gingerbread and it's bootloaders so you are able to flash anything you want.
