Every .161 I've checked with Firmware Finder is not approved for P30 Pro/C431. Post the SS again please, it doesn't show up.

P30 is mentioned in the comment, not P30 Pro. Look for the footnote: the user has ELE-L29, not VOG-XXX

I've checked right now and firmwarefinder shows .161 aproved to install on vog-lgrp2. Just wonder if it will pass safwty net on l09 c431.

VOG-LGRP2-OVS 10.1.0.161 got approved on Firmware Finder

Hy guys,

Sry for not beeing so active arround here for the past week, but i've been very busy at my job because we're getting ready for the special event called Black Friday, that's gonna be on November 13th, here in RO .

So, bellow you will find the info to TEST on your VOG-L09 C431 & VOG-L29 C431 / VOG-L29 C432 devices and see if it passes Safety Test. v161 has the September 2020 SP as changelog, so a rollback to previous firmware (July SP) WILL need a Factory RESET!

ONLY FOR VOG-L09 C431 & VOG-L29 C431 & VOG-L29 C432 TEST use as bellow and report if it passes Safety Net so i can update OP with info:
ON Package URL copy following link (open link in browser and then copy URL) – http://update.dbankcdn.com/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G5731/g1755/v470222/f1/full/changelog_base.xml
ON Point Version you have to thick it and write : VOG-LGRP2-OVS 10.1.0.161

Later edit on 21.10, 15:31! I've tried flashing, but because i'm on v166 (India firmware) i get the Gbc error. To flash and test this version i need to use dload firmware and return to v150 and then flash v161, which seems to be right version for C431. So it might take some time untill i'll do it, because i don't have spare time to test . I will eventually do it for my phone Friday night or sometime this weekend. If no one test it untill then, i will share my results here.

I kinda want to update to see if battery is fixed. It's 215.2mb OTA size so more than security patches. But can't be bothered with the hassle of downgrading again it it's crap.

I upgraded with Hisuite Proxy, and all went back to normal. I have received several system updates since then (which didn't break anything !)

Which model did you have? According to support in Sweden they had started OTA for P30 Pro VOG L29 C431.

Just be precise, as pictures we can not see (issues with xda or tapatalk) .
161 is tested by you guys on C431 and doesnt pass safety net, right?

Yeah, i think you need to be on v150, because it was something wrong with Huawei updates last month. Some users received v150 other received v156... Both OFFICIAL firmwares, released OTA/normal HiSuite or dload firmware....

Just wait untill Huawei (hope) will send update to your device OTA or by normal HiSuite (without HiSuite Proxy).

Ive just noted its new cust E27 for 161 instead E22...... So we need to select and new cust for 161 in proxy, right?
