Please tell me why I get the GBCGroup error? I'm on .161 I do as you wrote to .179.
My phone VOG-L29 (C431E23R2P5)
The same error for me to!

Hy there, try again using HiSuite v10.1.0.550 : Remove actual installed HiSuite, restart laptop/PC. Then install HiSuite v10.1.0.550, but don't hit Finish, now go to HiSuite Proxy, open it, press SETUP. After all is done, press finish on HiSuite installation. Then make sure on HiSuite settings proxy adress is enabled and proceed to flash firmware using HiSuite Proxy. I've reccomended this method to all users that asked for help and worked everytime....

Hi SilviuO again.
I did everything as you wrote, but the GBCGroup error still pops up, I always did what you recommend with this method, but today I still get the same error, what could be the reason?

It doesn't work, I did as you wrote, an error occurs. I saw that it has another Cust

Try flashing on VOG-L29 C431 alongside CUST Package from bellow:

ON Package URL copy following link (open link in browser and then copy URL) – http://update.dbankcdn.com/TDS/data/files/p3/s15/G5731/g1755/v480125/f1/full/changelog_base.xml
ON Point Version you have to thick it and write : VOG-LGRP2-OVS 10.1.0.179
+​
ON CUST PKG (open link in browser and then copy URL to HiSuite Proxy app) -

ON Point Version (thick box and write) : VOG-L29-CUST 10.0.0.23(C431)

OK, then try after uninstalling HiSuite to remove everything related from Program Files, MyDocuments/ User...and see if the host file is clean. Restart laptop/PC and then do as i mentioned before...

I did everything you suggested, the same BGCGroup error appears, everything always worked and today it does not go.

Try an older version of HiSuite, v10.0.1.100. Then do as i reccomended few posts before. & under no circumstances don't let HiSuite update or have access to internet before patching (this time better try out without internet connection to laptop/PC when installing/patching).

I confirm that after downgrading to HiSuite 10.0.1.100, the update immediately surprised, everything downloaded quickly and updated the phone. Thank you very much again.

Just to confirm, successfully updated to *.179. Used primary package *.179 in Hisuite Proxy (no cust), Hisuite 10.0.1.100. I was on *.161 before. Safety net pass. :)

Hi.
After succesfully rebranded my vogl29c431 to c675 I cannot further proceed with any type of update via this method.
Always alert me about being soft-rebranded and need authentication-bridge what will ALWAYS fail.
Any advice?

There is only one solution: to return to the original CUST, because that rebranding via CUST changing doesn`t work.
With that kind of rebranding you will not be able to flash any FW using HiSuite, HiSuite Proxy, or eRecovery, now you will always have the same error code about authentication-bridge.
If you want to change the country code of your device, you have to use a special software.
