i've got a G1 HTC, T-Mobile which has been opened. i'm presently using it in Mexico with TelCel. i'm just buying the minutes as i go. In the U.S. i use the WiFi from work and Sipdroid.
To one-touch root this thing it looks like i need to see what version of radio i have. Where can that be found? i'm presently running Cupcake, 1.6; Baseband version 62.505.20.17H_2.22.19.261 if this helps; Build DRC83.
Am running PCLinuxOS 2009, completely updated on the home computer and currently don't have any problem accessing the SD card via USB.
Do i need anything else besides the files?
Once i get rooted will the thing have some sort of desktop theme?
Will i have access to Market and be able to d/l and install the old programs again?
