The last few times I flashed a new custom rom, I flashed the most recent zip, then did the phone app update from play store and all is working well.Does this framework still work with current our latest Google phone app or is there any update to the dialer framework zip.

Me too on op3 freedomos CE 2.8I'm getting the same issue too. The only work around is tapping on the notification to bring up phone's fullscreen to answer.

Same issue here, im on freedom os ce 2.9Any clue why I can't answer calls with the notification they comes up? Permissions seem to be set and I'm on the latest v9 but the answer and decline buttons don't do anything
Set the Google dialer as default phone app first. Only then you'll be able to disable the in call ui.I was unable to disable InCallUI and it's driving me crazy! I was able to locate the app in settings, but the DISABLE button is greyed out. I have been able to disable the stock dialer however. Any help is appreciated. I am on a non-rooted OnePlus 2. OOS 3.5.8
Same problem persists. I still can't disable the InCallUI. It may be significant, but I acquired the Google Dialer from an apk and not from the original post. Just letting you know if it is somehow an issue.Set the Google dialer as default phone app first. Only then you'll be able to disable the in call ui.

It won't work as an apk. You'll have to flash it in twrp as you'll need the Google dialer framework as well. You don't need root but you'll require twrp.Same problem persists. Oh okay. See, I just switched to Android from iOS a few months ago, and I'm still figuring this all out. Could you maybe walk me through how to do just that?It won't work as an apk. here a guide, make sure you follow every step properly and carefully otherwise you could brick your device:Oh okay. See, I just switched to Android from iOS a few months ago, and I'm still figuring this all out. Could you maybe walk me through how to do just that?
I've disassembled the framework to confirm it doesn't do anything or provide any utilities needed by the Phone app. It's just a placeholder installed in the system of supported devices. So I don't anticipate it changing unless they want to drop support for older Pixel and Nexus phones. For the time being, I recommend updating the app via the Play store. Of course if that stops working and they require a new framework from the firmware of a new flagship or something then I will investigate and try to get out a fix.Does this framework still work with current our latest Google phone app or is there any update to the dialer framework zip.

If you like that version of the app, feel free to continue using it and ignore any updates in the Play store. You can also sideload the APK of a specific (newer) version as an update. Most people will probably want to just update via the Play store however.Hi,
I am new to XDA and i would like to thank you very much for this post !. I tried this dialer in my OP2 and it worked great !!. However i have the following doubts,
1.) I preferred the Mashmallow dailer compared to the new Pixel dialer or Oxygen stock dailer. I have installed the Marshmallow dailer now with your help using the following file dialer_with_framework-2016-10-18-11-15-31.zip. Now there is an update to the phone app in Google Play Store which i believe is Pixel dailer. Can i ignore that update ?
Current Version in my phone after installing dialer_with_framework-2016-10-18-11-15-31.zip is 4.1.134720488 but the version in google play store is 11.0.164102751.
Note: Phone - OnePlus 2; OOS version on my phone is 3.6.0; Android Marshmallow is 6.0.1
I like the Marshmallow inCallUI with bigger contact snaps and SIM color more than the Pixel inCallUI.If you like that version of the app, feel free to continue using it and ignore any updates in the Play store. On my OP3 I go to the "SIM cards" menu in Settings then click on the card icon to change the name and color for each SIM slot. The new color then shows up in the "Calling accounts" menu accessible from the Phone app.I like the Marshmallow inCallUI with bigger contact snaps and SIM color more than the Pixel inCallUI.

Hi @fadeout
I have one more doubt. By default i am getting GREEN color for SIM 1 & BLUE for SIM 2. I would like to swap the colors but unable to. Can you please help me on that ?, I have seen some posts regarding SIM color change using the com.qualcom.simsettings but i do not see that in my activities.
I do not have the option in my phone settings. I am using OOS 3.6.0On my OP3 I go to the "SIM cards" menu in Settings then click on the card icon to change the name and color for each SIM slot. The new color then shows up in the "Calling accounts" menu accessible from the Phone app.
