That's weird I used it on my OnePlus 3t last year and it worked fine. Have you disabled OnePlus dialer and also given all permissions to google dialer?
Even for me it worked some time back...but now itseems that OnePlus has introduced some changes that's affecting Google dialer app even after installing the dialer framework...
Oh could be so. I haven't used any OnePlus devices from quite some time so not sure. If your rooted you could try magisk modules which are available.
Yes I used a magisk module to flash the dialer framework and installed phone APK(tried various versions) but I couldn't attend the call from the incoming call notification I f I am unlocked....
Oh must be some other issue. Can't test it out myself as I don't have access to OnePlus device anymore.

That's a bummer. One of the main reasons I ditched OnePlus was they were no longer stock and kept on introducing their own apps. Luckily Nokia is back and recently launched 7 plus is getting all the praises except for the pricing.
