great news

for the first time ever, a nippon gsi has finally booted in our device:
https://t.me/nippongsi/7466

miui 14.0.3 ported from Redmi Note 8 2021 actually booted on camellian with latest stock global miui (i used 13.0.5 MI)

just flash the latest Global (MI) MIUI firmware, flash it, then follow the guide to flash it

Bugs i found: pressing power button to turn off your phone will make the screen completely off and the phone unusable till you force restart to make it work again
after using it for some time, problem should disappear and now lockscreen works properly

Lock screen freezes for a while after booting, just wait and simply unlock it

brightness is brighter or dimmer from the slider position

when booting, you may see the screen completely glitched out, its normal, dont worry

The rest is for whoever wants to try 😉

Ported MIUI 14 CH from camellia? How when it's not out? Will this work on Camellian Global Latest?

miui 14 rom is already available in the chinese model of our device since the start of this week or so

After development of the Pixel Experience Plus 12.1 GSI stopped in November I finally got around to attempting to flash Pixel Experience Plus 13.0 over it. Worked fine on two phones (tested on spare first!), did not have to wipe data. The new OS was seen as an update during first boot. NFC and Magisk still working, Pebble watch connectivity still working, had to enable "Use System Wide BT HAL" to get Bluetooth audio back. Camera now saves the full frame image instead of just the central two-thirds.

What rom are you trying to use?
If ur trying pixel experience, use the custom ROM, not GSI. GSI is not optimized enough to be used on the device's socket and ufs

Spark android 13.1,vanilla + microg g.no major bugs, good customizations, smooth and fast. With a few system tweak Almost completely absent. Very good rom

Latest corvus has auto brightness fixed

Nippon gsi is the largest community of ported gsi. but flash carefully. not al generic gsi are compatible with stock vendors driver. after rebbot you can have some bugs. but the stock system can be easily restored. i suggest ported gsi from redmi note 8
