I was buying the phone from the three network store. Money in hand no bills nothing. Yet the phone was locked on on three mobile but I unlocked it because I live in Romania.
But basically it's the same phone, so it should not be any problem, right? Or at least to find the global firmware, to be free of the network apps.
And also I spoke to the Huawei team and they told me there will be no pie update for the P20 lite :(
If lose the warranty is not a problem for you then you should firstly change your oeminfo to C432, but don't forget backup your, late you can restore your oeminfo.

Can you please put on on date with the info?
What is the oeminfo? And it cannot be changed in other ways? My PC it's broken at the moment(some display failure)
And also, what could go wrong if I don't change it? I'm not familiar with working in adb tho XD
And if you are kind enough to attach any other info I might find useful
Thank you a lot

Read this thread to understand what is the oeminfo partition, is from different device but it helps:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/mediapad-m3/help/oeminfo-collection-t3518535

Is not recommended to flash a firmware from different region, in the worst case it can brick your device, or still work but not properly.

The golden rule is do not mess with device if you don't have full firmware that you can revert in case that issues show up.

I'll keep that in mind, tho, seems hard to change the oeminfo. I'd rather wait for the update to come. Seems that Huawei it's not like flashing an old mtk phone haha

P20 lite locked on erecovery after flash

Good evening everyone,
Well, here I am, I flashed my P20 lite with the version C432 E5R1P7T8 FIRMWARE 9.0.0.R3 EMUI 9.1.005014. Well you know what, it only restarts in "erecovery". He does not want to know anything. The flash has been installed because now the EMUI is on a white background while in the previous version it was displayed on a black background. The phone and the FRP are both blocked and the device is not in debugguing mode, so it can not be detected by any application on a PC.
Funny yet, when I connect it on the internet, it announces: "DOWNLOADING PACKAGE FROM SERVER - VERSION ANE LX1 8.0.0.178 (C432) FULL SIZE 2707M It manages to load this version, but it does not manage to install it. I downloaded it myself believing that the wifi penalized this action, but I have not managed to install it.

So for now, start mi device blocked on "Erecovery". I can still flash it with another version, more recent, but nothing guarantees me that it will bring something.
It's been weeks that I'm hanging on the NET, but I have not found a similar case. Apart from taking him to"Lourdes", would you have any idea about a possible action that would allow him to regain his taste for life? I think I have already tried all the key combinations that exist. Anyway, since it is blocked everywhere, except the flash I do not see what I have left as a solution. Change motherboard maybe.
What do you think about? Thank you for your enlightened advices. I think this challenge is really high. But, "when we win without peril one triumphs without Glory" . . .

Hello , I received an Huawei P20 lite dual sim eu hw - ANE-LX1 9.1.0.278 (C432E6R1P7) that is stuck on huawei logo. I have no possibility to enter recovery and neither dload method seems to work. The only thing I can do is enter in fastboot mode. Bootloader is locked, FRP is locked... I have a chance to restore this device? thank you in advance
