gscript continues to give a permission denied error everytime I run either script even though I have chmod'd all files and folders.

scriptor says:
couldn't set local enviornment, using default {null}
failed to access /dev/block/sda1 please check dev/block/sda1 and the ntfs-3g binary permissions and the mounting user ID

do i need to do anything from the roebeet page if i am already running tiamat 1.4.0? All i did was follow the instructions from the first post of this thread.

I HAVE A WIFI XOOM

**EDIT**
I was able to plug in a 2gb thumb drive and see it under the OTG folder. Still no luck mounting a NTFS drive though.

thanks,

I have tried the script many different ways and keep getting the same error. I really dont want to come accross as a pest but I am going on vacation on Wednesday and I really would like to figure this out so I dont have to take my laptop. I know it can be done, I just dont know what i am doing wrong. If anyone has a few minutes to help me out I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,

A USB coupler? I have the adapter, thats not the problem. The problem is I keep getting permission errors and what not. Read my post a few posts back to see what i am talking about.

Thanks,

Did you do?
chmod 755 /system/xbin/ntfs-3g /system/xbin/umount_force

to get permission?

mount external sd card ntfs

after spent half a day, i can mount my external sd card 16 gig NTFS ,just change a little bit at

ntfs-3g /dev/block/mmcblk1p /mnt/external_sd

but I saw an error command showed

Couldn't set local environment, using default '(null)'.
ntfs-3g-mount: mount failed: Device or resource busy

but when browse to external sd card i can see all the files there, but I can't play vdo from there yet 'coz Nemoplayer can't browse sd card :-( Roakplayer doesn't work either.

the coupler is for people that cant find the conversion cable...

Tried that, won't work.

You need a cable made for it. Pins 4 and 5 (ID and Ground) need to be shorted, otherwise the Xoom won't know that it's a host device.

You need to DIY it or order it from eBay. As soon as I find some in the US, I'll start shipping them.
