Use the latest Flashtool to download and make an FTF of your own or just download a FTF from the general section and flash it with Flashtool.Whats the next version from mine? i cant find no link...![]()
Basically if you're already on 10.5.1.A.0.283, you can't. The other way of rooting is to unlock your bootloader and you need a PC/laptop to do that.Nice anyhelp I don't have laptop how can i root
Thanks

When? If after flashing the 230 kernel, that is normal and is written in the guide. You will get wifi back when flashing the 283 kernel.
If you mean after flashing the 283 kernel, then try rebooting. I didn't have this problem and neither did any of the other 3000 people that used the kernels.

Flash a stock FTF and start again.I've tried restarting. Nothing seems to work. Got any alternate solutions?
You're welcome.Worked for me, running Flashtool on a MacBook Pro. Neat explanation, thank you.

Root your device with it then delete it.My device say towelroot got virus
Your device/antivirus software is wrong (mostly). My device say towelroot got virus
I don't even trust the antivirus softwares and I believe they create viruses itselfYour device/antivirus software is wrong (mostly).
Almost all root exploits trigger virus warnings because of their nature. They exploit security vulnerabilities to gain write access to /system to root your device. The same vulnerability that towelroot, Easy Root and Flashtool uses (CVE-2014-3153) could technically be used for nefarious purposes (and this is why OEMs like Sony patch these exploits when found), but in this case it's just used to root your device.
It's up to you if you trust it, but it's by a known, trusted developer (GeoHot) who is highly unlikely to be stealing your data.
